Chap 46- Mission: Melting Sugar

"Alright, it's time to wake up!"

"Manager, I really miss hearing this!" Jimin says as he got up from his bed.

"Aha! This is more like it! Now I really feel like Manager's back!" Hoseok nods in agreement.

"Haaa... Mmmm...."

"Huh? What, Jungkook? Aha Jungkook says he's really happy too!" Taehyung gives a slight wack to Jungkook's shoulder as he chuckled.

We're back to our peaceful routine and the mornings I missed so much.

"Listen up whole you eat, okay? Today's schedule includes radio-" I started to explain to them.

The members around the table are still sleepy-eyed but focused intently on what I'm saying.

"Hehe. This is weird. Why do I keep wanting to laugh?" Jimin stares at me with bright eyes head resting on both his hands. I've only just glanced at him when a pinky finger appears in my peripheral vision.

"Promise me, manager! Promise you won't leave again. I'll never let you... Hurry up, hurry" Taehyung looks grim. I make an elaborate 3-step pinky promise internally melting at his adorable behavior.

"Huh? Where's Yoongi?" I ask as I noticed that he wasn't here.

"Oh? You're right. Is he not up?" Namjoon wondered.

I stood up from my seat heading to his room to wake him up.

"Yoongi! It's time to get u-" The door suddenly opens. Yoongi and I lock eyes.

"..... Oh. Haha, you're up!" I stated awkwardly.

"Yeah" He replied with a gloomy expression on his face.

"You didn't want to eat? The other members-"

"I'm not interested" Yoongi stalks past me.

Is it just me! I can't help but feel.....

"Wow, cold. So cold"

"My goodness! When'd you get here?" I ask Jungkook, startled a bit.

"I'm done eating! Time for my sugar cane dessert" He answers.

"Hey, Jungkook. Does Yoongi seem a little....." I trailed off.

"He's a total block if ice. Can't you tell just by looking at him?" Jungkook shrugges.

"Production work? I'll handle it. You don't have to worry about it"

"Now's not a good time...... I'd like to be alone"

"..... I'll do it myself later"

I haven't had a proper conversation with Yoongi since I've been back.

"I don't think Suga hyung's quiet over it yet. He's quite soft hearted, that hyung" Jungkook says as he munches on a sugar crane.

"We can't go on like this! If he's putting space between us.... I'll bridge it!" I say.

Thus begins Mission: Melting Sugar!

Just my luck! We have today off and there's nothing scheduled.... Yeah! I have an idea!
