As the silence stretched on, naruto started to feel annoyed.

"You guys seriously invited Me here to stay quiet ?" He asked flatly.

Tsunade exchanged glances with the two older men in the room, before regarding naruto with a serious expression.

"As you stated before, we did call you on the topic of this secrete person you're currently seeing"

Damn.

So he was right.

Naruto's eye twitched, a tic he seemed to have developed against people somewhat offending him.

"And ? What about it ?" He asked confused while crossing his arms over his chest.

Jiraiya stepped up to answer, and naruto internally frowned.

If Jiraiya took this seriously, it must be really really bad.

"Why so secretive about this person naruto ?"

All eyes zeroed on him, awaiting an answer.

"Well..." Naruto started. To be completely honest , it wasn't really his choice to be secretive about his mate. Kurama told him it will be best if people didn't know, like that nobody will try to get into his business.
'You don't need people bugging you more than they already do'
Kurama had said, and naruto didn't quit understand it.

Until kiba knew, and naruto realized how right his mate was.

"Well?" Kakashi urged.

"You see it's really simple actually" naruto said with an easy smile.
The adults awaited for his response eagerly.

'Kurama help!!' He internally screeched.

'Someone's loud...'

'Damn it help me !!! What do I tell them?

'Ugh- just say you didn't feel ready to talk about it'

'...'

'Yes it's that simple'

"I wasn't really ready to tell anybody about it yet." Naruto lied, ignoring the grumpiness in kurama's voice.

They will talk about that later.

Naruto glanced at each individual to assess their reactions.

Tsunade narrowed her eyes at him, considering his words.

Jiraiya looked not only doubtful but alarmed.

Kakashi was hard to read thanks to the mask. naruto would say he's also doubtful.

Naruto swore in his mind, earning a snicker from the demon.

'I'll see if I can get out of this somehow'

'it'll be difficult'

He silently agreed and spoke again.

"So like- can I leave now?"

'...'

'WHAT ?'

'wow...just wow'

The trio in front of him exchanged silent looks again, and naruto got the feeling as if he was back at the orphanage when the adults in the room silently watched him with wary eyes.
