-So y'all finally came to punish me- Gabriel said as he watched the heroes enter his private office room. -I certainly believed that you would come to finish the job since the moment you beat me- he said seriously expecting the worst. -I will thank you for the time you gave me because I had the opportunity to improve the situation with my son... however, I do not mean to beg for my life-

Chat suffered hearing those words from his father, since despite all the damage Gabriel had done as Hawkmoth... the things had changed and now the blond could feel his warmth and affection. He had sincerely shown him wanting to be a better father.

-It is true that you made mistakes, but you have decided to mend your way, change your life and stop harming others- the blonde said, trying to make his father feels better. -And we certainly all deserve a second chance- he said winking at the snake, which smiled at his phrase.

-But I don't understand what brings you here- the older asked confused and still doubtful by the presence of the heroes.

-We want to help your family- Ladybug said this time with a look that showed her confidence that they would do their best to change the situation.

The designer's expression was one of astonishment, he could not believe the words of those heroes, it was impossible that they wanted to help him after so much damage he caused them.

As I told you before I can understand the pain of losing the important people in your life- the musician thought about when Marinette's accident happened, and in all the timelines where he saw Adrien's suffering... it was hard and that made him feel sorry for the man. -That's why I want to help you, actually, we all want to help you, your family does not deserve to continue suffering.-

The man was moved by the words of the heroes, so he was sure that he could trust on them.

-It's better to move on, because we still need your help- the great designer looked at him confused.
-Mr Agreste, if we want to save Emily, we have to purify the sentimonster-
Gabriel's expression got depressed and he started touching his wedding ring. Now Adrien was confused since he was not aware about the situation.

-I understand- Gabriel said showing how that affected him. -but if you fail I will lose my last memory of her-

-You must believe in us... and you also knows that it is the right thing to do- Gabriel nodded still dismayed.

At that moment Nathalie appeared in the room. -I'm sorry to interrupt you- she said with his usual serious look, and she immediately provided him a box. -Here you have Sir-

She opened the little box and placed in his hand the ring where the feather was. -You must go ahead Sir, because Emily wouldn't like to see you like this-

The girl nodded, still moved by the scene witnessed.  She did the requested and a carnation descended with the amulet.

Finally the man could not hold back his tears, even the cat began to cry slightly trying to hide it.

-Carnations... that were her favorite flowers, she always put them in the house.- Gabriel said through tears remembering his wife. -so if it has appeared it must be a sign, now without a doubt I will believe in you-

-It is time Sir- the designer nodded and handed the rings to the cat.

Although it also hurt him to destroy them, he took the strength to activate his power and contemplate how something so important to his family vanished in his fingers, leaving a small blue feather.

And quickly the girl in red used her power to purify the Amok, and instantly vanished that sentimonster that had been able to love.

-I'm counting on you- finally Gabriel expressed trying to regain his composure and his usual serious demeanor.

Ladybug nodded and activated her power. -Miraculous Ladybug!!- scarlet lights glowed and the rings appeared on the cat's hand.

Chat Noir handed them to his father, smiling at him to try to cheer him up, even when he had a knot in his stomach. And it was evident that Gabriel appreciated the gesture, as he responded with a slight smile that made his hope evident.

Luka sighed thinking that the most complicated part had not happened yet...
