Harry POV

I felt so bad for lying to Rhiannon but it was the spur of the moment. I had tried to kill him and he nearly did and no doubt he has killed many innocent people. Plus it was clear that Draco was happy with Rhiannon and he doesn’t deserve to be happy. Something as evil and selfish as him shouldn’t be allowed to be happy. I’m doing Rhiannon a favour as well, she can’t be happy with Draco, no one could.

She looked as though she was about to burst into tears, like she wanted to bury herself in the ground and never come up again. The guilt in my stomach became stronger but then I remembered the look on Draco’s face and I remembered the look in Dumbledore’s eyes when all the life faded from him and the guilt evaporated into nothing. We stood there for a while, I wanted to comfort her in some way but I doubt it will do again good.
