ROBIN LOOKED DOWN AT the large, lavender gown in awe. She'd never saw anything so beautiful. And the shoes topped everything off.
"I-I don't know how to thank you.. wow." She said, speechless.
"Thank me by getting in this carriage and getting your prince! But before you go.. I have to warn you."
Robin looked at her, waiting for the next statement.
"When the clock hits midnight, you have to leave. If you don't, what you had before will show."
"Okay.." She nodded, kind of confused. "Bye bye godmother!" Robin waved before quickly but carefully hopping into the flower decorated carriage.

What a twist of the night.

ROMAN | 8:30 PM.
Roman greeted all the foreign women with a fake smile and handshake.
His eye was only looking for, her. Hoping the most she shows.
"The dancing's gonna start at 9 Mr. Highland." One of the guards told him in his ear.
He nodded, sighing under his breath.

ROBIN | 8:50 PM.
The horses' hooves slowed from galloping as the lights of the large castle filled the inside of the carriage.
Robin stared in amazement, not realizing her mouth was falling open.
I'm at a castle, mama.
Her carriage door was opened by one of the castle's gentleman, taking her hand as she stepped out.
"Enjoy miss."
Robin smiled before going around the ride to see the steps of the castle.
"Wow."

The steps sparkled almost of, glitter.
She took a breath before walking up, hoping she wasn't too late.
By the time Robin walked into the castle entrance, eyes were on her.
She grew kind of self-conscious, hoping they were staring at her for a good reason.
Before she realized, she saw the king sitting on his throne.
The stairs to go down onto the ballroom.
The stairs to where her future spouse awaited.
Her hands lifted her dress to walk down.

People looked, whispered, admired, all in a mix.
Especially, Celia and Tessa.
"Who is that girl?" Celia asked in a jealous tone.
"I don't know but she better not ruin my chances. What a ugly dress." Tessa crossed her arms. "Doesn't mine look better mama?"
"She looks kind of familiar.."

ROMAN | 9:00 PM.
"It's time."
Roman fixed his suit a bit, beginning to step down.
"Good luck son." His father encouraged.

Everyone was informed the time of the dancing so, there came the crowding.
The prince fakely smiled, overwhelmed.
"Dance with me!"
"I'm available!"
"Get out the way! I'm gonna be the first!"
People fussed and rustled.
This is gonna be a long night.. He thought to himself.
His eyes bounced around the large room. He went over something purple.
Wait, purple?
Then he set on a face, a pure face.
The face he saw in the diner.
She's here!
He began to walk towards her, his smile growing as he did—but someone stepped in his way.

A elderly someone at that.
"Prince Roman! Beautiful night isn't it?" Celia started, smiling sweetly.
Roman almost smushed her face out the way but kept his composure.
"Yes, yes it is."
"Almost as beautiful as my daughter! How does your first dance of the night with her sound? . . "
