Ash's PoV

"EXPLAIN OR YOU'RE EXILED!" My father yelled at me once again.

Coolly, I walked over to where he sat. Perching myself on a chair opposite him, I smirked.

"You didn't just smirk at me!" He spat.

Putting my arms behind my head,I relaxed.

"Sorry" I said nonchalantly.

"I've had enough of your dumb apologies"

I didn't reply.

"It's about the girl, isn't it?" He raised a brow.

I nodded.

"And for one girl you're risking a war?"

I gave another nod.

"Have you lost your mind?" He glared at me.

I nodded yet again.

His expression softened a bit.

"There's no way to get het back, whatever you're doing is worth nothing" he spoke softly.

"What did my mother look like?" I spoke out of the blue.

He was taken off guard by my sudden question.

"What?"

"What did the women who gave birth to me looked like?" I said flatly.

"I'm not here to discuss that" he looked down.

"Fine, let's go Cyrus" I said getting up.

"Ahhh! Okay! If you give me the exact details, I'll tell you what your mother looked like" He scowled.

I smirked taking the chair once again.

"You go first" He commanded.

Fine.

I started from the part where I met Cyrus, to the visit to Cloudaria leaving out the part where I met that young women.

He muttered something under his breath.

"Are you planning to tell me or what?" I asked curiously.

He looked down, after some moments of deep thinking, he spoke again "Beautiful, she was the most beautiful girl I've encountered. Her eyes were the color of grass, a small buttoned nose, soft plumpy lips, long brown hair with a tint of red, she was tall" his eyes never leaving the floor.

I nodded leaving the chair.

So the girl wasn't like.

"Time to find Ellie" I said gesturing at Cyrus.

"Won't you tell me why you asked?" My father questioned.

I didn't reply.

Putting my hand on Cyrus's shoulder, I pulled out the gem from my pocket

"Dad" I said glancing back at my father.

"What?"

"Mom said she misses you"

His eyes widened.

Gripping the gem tighter in my fist, I closed my eyes thinking back to how I had done it the first time.

It was the same feeling. The surroundings swirled, my vision tinged green. My body became heavy and my limbs went limb. Soon, I was surrounded by sheer darkness.

When the darkness lifted, I found myself surrounded by trees.

"Dude! What was that?" Cyrus exclaimed.

I glanced at him, not wanting to reply.

"I was waiting for you!" A familiar voice spoke.

I turned my head. 'My mother' sat on a throne not so far from us.

Getting up on my feet, I walked over to her.

"Greg, bring us three cups of tea" she ordered the goblin that stood by the throne.

Bowing his head once, the goblin left.

"Who is she?" Cyrus said appearing beside me.

"My mother"
