Ellie's PoV

The next thing I saw was Ash surrounded by fierce fire. My eyes widened.

Was he controlling fire?

Oh God.

Hope started to bubble up insidemy chest, my Ash was here, to get me out of this hell.

"Damien" Lara called.

He walked towards me.

"Take care of the body while I'm gone"

Oh no, not again.

Dread washed over me as darkness surrounded me.

"Ellie" a smooth voice rang.

I gasped when I felt a grip on my back.

Ash is gonna save me, Ash is gonna save me soon.

Repeating that as a mantra in my head, I tried to breathe calmly.

The grip on my back loosened right when someone cought hold of my throat.

Nails dug into my skin as I was lifted upwards.

"Useless" I heard a gravelly voice say.

With that, I was thrown backwards and collapsed against a wall that I didn't know existed.

The place suddenly illuminated by a non existent source. I opened my eyes to find my vision tinged red.

I scanned the place, it looked like the same place where I was almost killed, it had the same walls with the tunnel like corridors and the same altar in the middle.

My heart skipped a beat when I felt a soft touch on my arm.

"Help me" a small voice said.

I shook my head, knowing it was Lara messing up with me.

Ash please.

"Please" the voice cried.

I slowly turned my head to he met by blind eyes. A smile tugged at her face that was covered in blood.

My breath caught in my throat.

Ash please save me.

She brought a dagger to her lips.

"I can't imagine how fun this is gonna be" she laughed.

Ash.

Tears started to burn at the back of my throat.

Before I could process, she slapped me, scratching my face.

Then she grabbed my ankles, pulling me down then she sat over me.

"I should've finished this long ago" She hissed.

The blood that was previously on her face was now gone, her eyes that were blind a moment ago were back to their blue-green shade.

She brought the dagger close to my neck.

Tears trickled down my face as I felt a sharp pain go through my throat.

Ash's PoV

I saw fire everywhere, I felt fire everywhere.

My body wasn't listening to my brain.

It took all my will to not burn everything around me.

"Ash, Ellie's body's limp!" I heard a yell.

Ellie?

That worked as my wake up call, the fire ceased, my vision cleared.

My head shot in the direction of the voice.

Cyrus stood near the couch where Ellie's body lay, apparently, she was struggling to breathe.

Another body lay on the ground.

I ran over to them.

I crouched down beside Ellie, holding her in my arms.

"What happened?" I practically yelled.

~○~

Cyrus's PoV

"Ash!" I yelled.

He didn't even budge.

The spirits had long burnt, some even managed to escape.

Ellie lay unconsciously on the couch, the guy aka Damien stood there like a mannequin staring at Ash.

I guess, I'll have to figure something out myself.

Slowly, I walked to the other side of the room, picking I small chair, I sneaked behind the guy and hit him in the head as hard as I could.

When he collapsed, I rushed towards Ellie.

"Ash!" I yelled.

"Ash!"

"Ash, Ellie's body's limp!"

The fire suddenly stopped, Ash's head shot to our direction.

Within a second, he was across the room.

"What happened?" He yelled taking Ellie in his arms.
