The days passed by and it was finally time for Anya to go back to school.
She knew everyone was still talking about her and her bad behavior, since they were all annoyed at her for shutting down the school's newspaper, but she didn't care about the hate.

She had way more serious issues to be sad about, like losing the boy she liked.
And it wasn't just a silly high school crush she'd eventually get bored of... The misery she felt didn't even let her sleep at nights, as she repeated the scene in her head over and over again.. Timothée kissing the other girl.
The worst part.... She couldn't even hate the girl, or him...

Anya entered the school building in her casual outfit and her hair looking messier than usually. Everybody looked interested in her business as they began pointing at her and whispering things.

"Hi guys!" Anya approached her friends and they all looked at her at the same time.

"Omg.... Anya... What are you wearing?" Lauren asked.

"Sweatpants!?"

"Why? Are you sick?" Lauren questioned.

"No, I just didn't feel like trying too hard today." Anya shrugged.

"And it's perfectly fine! Right?" Marie gave death glares to her friends.

"Yeah, if she likes it, then she can wear it.." Ollie exclaimed.

"Thank you.." the blonde girl felt relieved that her friends had her back. She appreciated that they didn't dive deeper into the fact she had almost no make up on, or the fact she hadn't hung out with them in days.

On the last period Timothée made his way to the auditorium. He had already heard from people that Anya was back at school, but he hadn't actually seen her.
Perhaps she was trying to keep her distance or something. He knew he was kind of responsible for the destruction of the girl's reputation, since he was the one who had made her join all of the activities that weren't considered 'cool', but he didn't mean to ruin her life. He didn't think people would react in such a dramatic way. But that was high school after all.

Kiara walked towards him and smiled at the sight of the boy.
"Hi Timothée!" she confidently spoke.

"Oh, hi Kiara!" he smiled.

"What are you doing at 7? I think it's time to actually go on that date! Don't you think?" she smirked in a funny way.

"I have to study.. Um I have to-" he scratched his nape.

"You have to go out with me! It'll be for like two hours, studying can wait, right?" Kiara gave him puppy eyes.

"Okay.. I guess.. Sure." he agreed.

"Hello class! How are you all today?" Mrs Barnes walked in the room and got the students' attention. They all greeted her back.

"I see you're all here, except for miss Davis.. Okay so we'll start our class now.." the woman put on her glasses and took some papers in her hands. The girl had probably picked her friends over her interests.

"Sorry I'm late... Can I come in?" Anya's quiet voice got everyone's attention, including Timothée's.

"Oh! Miss Davis! Glad to see you here, of course come in! Now I know you've lost a couple of classes, so you might need some help from one of your classmates. You'll do just fine though, don't worry!" Mrs Barnes smiled big at the girl and Anya let herself in the auditorium and weakly smiled back at some of the students.

"I can help you if you want!" a boy discreetly walked closer to her.

"Fred, right?.. Oh no wait... It's Gregg!?" Anya tried to remember the boy's name. He was always in the class and he was pretty good in acting.

"Correct, I'm Gregg! So?" the boy questioned.

"Omg yes please, I could use some help!" the girl said with gratitude.

"Awesome! I like your new look by the way! You look hella fresh!"

"Thanks Gregg!" Anya smiled.

"Okay, enough talking kids! It's time for you to pick a partner to play Rosa and Henry with.. We need to practice!" the British woman said loudly and they all started looking for their match.

"Let's be partners!" Gregg said to Anya.

"We're so doing it together, right? We're the best ones in here..." Kiara elbowed Timothée's arm softly.

"Yeah, okay, alright!" Timothée said when he saw Anya nodding at Gregg.

"Excuse me miss.. I've been here for a while now and although everyone's in their shiny vibrant attire, I couldn't stop myself from staring at this lonely girl in the corner... May I have your name my lady?" Gregg asked politely.

"Can you?!.. What makes you think I'm lonely tonight sir?" Anya asked.

"You're at a dance, yet you don't dance with anybody! Would you like to dance with me perhaps?" the boy said in a charming way.

"I... I don't have time for this... If you'll excuse me now sir, I have to go back to work..." the girl picked a shiny silver salver in her hands. Gregg looked at her in shock.

"Gregg... It'd be better if you looked at the girl in disbelief.. Rosa is basically telling you she's a maid.. She's not one of the rich ladies at the dance.. But she looks golden and expensive, although she's not as overdressed as the others.. So you don't have to look shocked, you have to look like you can't actually believe what she's telling you, because she's not short on beauty." Mrs Barnes said to the boy and he nodded.

"Okay, Kiara and Timothée... You're next." the teacher exclaimed and the two students walked on the stage.

They started reading the next lines but Anya was too focused on Timothée's presence to even notice what they were talking about.
How could a person's face be so delicate..? There she was again trying to hate him for kissing that other girl, but failing terribly, cause how could she possibly do that? He was the sweetest boy she had ever met.

"Ahem... You're too obvious girl.." Gregg got her out of her thoughts and she instantly looked away.

"Pffftt, you don't know what you're talking about..." the girl playfully rolled her eyes.

"Really! You're funny Anya, we should hang out sometime and actually rehearse together!" he smiled.

"Let me know when and where!" she wiggled her eyebrows at him.
