It's just a little mistake...

Savannah couldn't help but feel a little nervous as she knocked on Peter's bedroom door. It had been a little more than two months since she'd last seen him. Two months since she left without saying goodbye since she left without an explanation. She couldn't help but feel a little guilty, Peter had tried so hard to be her friend and she'd left him.

"Pietro not now" Peter's voice called from inside the room.

Savannah frowned and knocked again.

"Pietro I swear to God!"
Savannah knocked again, harder this time. She could hear Peter's angry footsteps walking toward the door.

"Pietro, for the last time I do not want- oh" Peter opened the door only to find that it was actually Savannah standing outside his room. He immediately stopped yelling and his eyes widened. Savannah could tell he was very surprised.

Jasper didn't seem to be in the room, Savannah guessed that he was with Wanda or something, Savannah would go check on her after.

"Hey Peter," Said Savannah awkwardly and she bit her tongue just to have something to do. Peter was just staring at her like she'd stolen his teddy bear. He moved aside to allow her to walk into her room, Savannah took the hint and walked in. It was almost exactly as she remembered it, Savannah smiled a little when she remembered all the actually good memories she had from this place.

She sat down on the desk chair while Peter sat on his bed, still staring at her.

"Where were you?" he finally asked.

Savannah had thought he'd already known, it was pretty obvious, to be honest. Where else would a Hydra agent go?

"Home" she answered simply.

Peter looked uneasy, like he wanted to say something but didn't know how. Savannah waited, she knew he was probably angry with her, she waited for him to start yelling, screaming, shouting at her that she was a horrible person.

What he said was even worse.

His voice didn't rise, if anything it got quieter. He looked down at his feet while he said it, she could hear the sadness, the betrayal in his voice.

"Were we not good enough for you?"
Peter didn't dare look at her, he was so confused. He thought they had been friends, she was the only person that he had ever trusted so fast. So yeah, he might have been a little desperate in the beginning, trying to be her friend and all that when she had just moved in, but Peter had been nice to her right? Why would she leave?

Savannah shook her head, "you were too good" she said. It was true, the whole reason she left was because this was different, different than Hydra, different than everything she'd ever known. Savannah hadn't been used to the change and when she actually started liking it-

She'd gotten scared.

Not that she'd ever admit that.

But Savannah's mind hadn't been played with as Bucky's had. She still had her feelings, her emotions. And yeah, she could become emotionless faster than one could blink, but on the inside, she still felt everything. And she was only sixteen as it was, not that her age had ever mattered.

Peter looked up at her, "what do you mean?" he asked.

The look of sadness on his face almost made her look away, she didn't feel like she could look at him. He was looking at her as if she had just told him there was no more candy or something.
