Ahh... what a great night, I have always wished to do this with Xingqiu, and it's finally happening. We finally get to dance together. Slow music is playing, while everyone else seems to mind their own business with their dance partner. Xiangling with Xinyan.. Bennett with Razor... Hu tao with Yanfei.. Ganyu with Keqing.... Wait, where is Xiao and Venti? Argh, these two. So troublesome. Eh, I'll just let them be, I'm having fun over here.

Third Person's Pov
"Venti, are you sure this is a good idea. I mean look at the sky, it's dark" he followed Venti. "Of course it'll be dark, it's night time idiot"

"No I mean like it's darker than usual, what if it rains?" They've arrived by a pretty bridge with black metal railings. Venti leans in it and looked up at the sky "Who cares if it rains? Getting wet does not matter at all. As long as you're with me" He smiled as the other blushed. Xiao decided to lean at the railings beside Venti, so he could admire the night along with his beloved.

"Ahh, Xiao, I believe you still got something to explain to me?" They looked at each other, the other one is in confusion while the other is curious. "The reason why you rejected me?"

"Oh" He looks away from Venti "um, wanted to protect you from hate. I wanted to protect you cause you're special to me, I once failed to protect someone before... I didn't want it to happen again"

"May I ask who that is..?" His voice was soft, if was nice for Xiao's ears. "My father" Venti almost gasped in shocked, what happened to his dad? Why does he feel like he knows something about it.. He saw himself talking to Miss Jean about something... Which never happened. "We were in a car back then. Talking and laughing together, but my dad lost focus on his driving, causing us to crash. What I still question myself is.. Why did I survive? Why wasn't it me who died instead of him"

"Stop talking like that Xiao!!!" He hits Xiao's arms as he whines. "That mistake, I didn't want it to happen again. You are too close to perfection, I would never let you get judgements from my fans. I will protect you at all cost, even if that means we can't be together"

"So you do love me?" Venti looked at Xiao and smirks "I do, I have always loved you" Xiao also looked at him. Venti was shocked, he was just goofing around then Xiao gave him the most serious answer "Really?!" Rain started to fall from the dark sky as Venti panicks. "Yes, really"

"Wait no, like really? Really really?" The rain got heavier, Xiao sighed. "I DO LOVE YOU VENTI" Xiao screamed into the rain. Venti couldn't help but giggle "VENTI LOVES XIAO TOO" Xiao pats the other's head as he chuckles.
