Taehyung.

I awoke to the sensation of someone watching me. Slowly opening my eyes, I found Bogum's smiling face inches from mine.

"Too close, Bogum," I mumbled drowsily. "Give me some space," I added, amused. He chuckled softly and backed away.

Stretching, I felt the ache in my back from oversleeping. "How was your sleep?" Bogum asked, still grinning. "I didn't want to disturb you; you looked too peaceful," he said playfully.

I scoffed and checked my phone. Four missed calls from Jisoo and five from Seokjin-hyung flashed on the screen. Glancing at my watch, I realized it was already past lunchtime.

"Wow, did I really sleep that long?"

Moving to get up, Bogum gently stopped me in my tracks. I raised an eyebrow, curious.

He looked slightly sheepish and nodded towards the table where lunch was laid out. "Um... I waited for you to wake up, hoping you'd join me," he confessed shyly.

My heart warmed at his thoughtfulness. I turned towards him, took a seat, and eagerly dug into the food. Bogum chuckled softly and breathed a sigh of relief before sitting down across from me to start his own meal.

During lunch, we delved into discussions about the interior design plans for my gallery. Bogum took the lead, sharing his ideas enthusiastically while I listened intently and occasionally chimed in with questions.

After we finished eating, I helped tidy up, clearing the table and disposing of the waste in the garbage bag.

"Any plans for today, Taeh? I can tag along," Bogum offered.

I shook my head. "No, you go ahead. I need to visit the Jeons. I have to make up with Mimi for not being there last night," I said casually.

"Can I come with you?" Bogum asked hopefully. I sighed, hesitating.

"I'm sorry, Bogumie, but it's probably better if you head home. I'll catch up with you next time," I replied, feeling guilty.

But what choice did I have? It wasn't my house; it belonged to Jeon Jungkook. They could easily end up in an argument, given their history of holding grudges against each other. The last thing I wanted was to stir up trouble at Mimi's place.

Bogum smiled briefly and nodded. I patted his shoulder. "Take care. Get home safely," I said before turning and leaving my office.

As I walked, one of my staff members stood up and hurried over to me.

"Mr. Kim, I need to tell you something," she said nervously.

I smiled reassuringly and gestured for her to continue. "Go ahead."

"Um... last night, a guy came looking for you here. I asked him what he wanted, but he didn't say. Instead, he claimed he was one of your top buyers, so I gave him your location from last night. I just wanted to ask, did someone come to see you this morning?" she explained anxiously.

Frowning, I tried to recall anyone visiting me this morning, but no one came to mind.

"No one. Not at all," I murmured, thinking. Her relief was evident, but then her eyes widened in concern.

"Then who was he?" she asked urgently.

"What did he look like, Lisa?" I asked, my tone serious. There hadn't been anyone this morning, but there had been a commotion last night when a man visited me at the front desk.

Lisa stared into the distance, a dreamy smile playing on her lips. I couldn't help but flick her forehead. She pouted and rubbed the spot, clearly annoyed.
