And due to past friendships with people I now doubt everyone

Haechan POV

Haechan and Renjun were forcefully shoved out the door and then brought up a flight of stairs by these... Men

They were walked into a living room looking area with several couches arranged so they all faced eachother in a square looking shape

The two hostages were pushed onto one of the couches

Renjun fell onto Haechan's shoulder. A pained look on his smooth face

"Are you ok?"
Haechan whispered

Renjun let out a little whimper as he nodded as if to tell the younger he was ok. And yet the look on his face spoke louder then Renjun's affirmations

"Not that I care or anything. I'm just making sure you won't hold me back when we run-"
Haechan continued to whisper, but a stern

"SHUT UP!"
silenced the boy

Renjun and Haechan sat in silence for a few more minutes as the group of men seemed to have an argument in a room beside them. They left only one of them to watch over the two, he stood behind them. A gun in his hands

After a few moments of the only noise being the muffled argument from the other members, Haechan spoke

"Of all things you could throw at him, you chose a drink?!"

Renjun sighed. Pushing himself off the younger and glaring at him, then man behind them flinching at the sudden movement

"OH MY GOODNESS IT WAS ALL I HAD!"

"YOU COULD'VE THROWN YOUR SHOE!"

"OH YEAH SUUURE 'HEY BAD GUY TRYING TO KILL HAECHAN. WAIT I SECOND WHILE I UNTIE MY SHOE SO I CAN THROW IT AT YOU.'!"

"WELL YOU COULD'VE PUNCHED HIM!"

"OOOOO YEAH. A WEAK COMPUTER GEEK TRYING TO THROW PUNCHES AT SOMEONE WHO'S PROBABLY HAD YEARS OF EXPERIENCE. WHAT A FUCKING GENIUS IDEA, DUMBASS."

"IT WOULD'VE DISTRACTED HIM WHILE I RAN!"

"HE HAD A FUCKING GUN! I WOULD'VE DIED!"

"SO?! AT LEAST I WOULD'VE LIVED! AND LOOK AT ME NOW. STUCK IN THIS GANG WITH YOU AND I HAVE SODA ALL OVER MY CLOTHES NOW."

Renjun rolled his eyes as he sighed exasperatedly

"Ok FiNe NEXT time someone attacks you. I'm RUNNING."

Haechan scoffed

"As if you could."

"Try me."
Renjun spat. Leaning towards Haechan

"Oh I will."
Haechan fired back, leaning in closer

The two sat there, making eye contact. Neither of them looking away

"Would you shut the FUCK UUUP!"

The two looked away as the angry red haired leader stomped back into the room, grabbing the two's collars and shoving them away from eachother

"You squabble like a bunch of chickens."
He muttered, running his hand through his hair, gripping his belt with his other hand as to not strike the two children

Taeyong glared at the two before speaking again

"Now. If you two fight again. I'm strangling you both with my own hands."

"Kinky."
Haechan muttered under his breath. Which earned him equally annoyed looks from Renjun and Taeyong

Taeyong took a deep breath. Exhaling to calm himself down before he spoke

"You two will stay here. You will be trained and watched carefully to make sure you won't run away or betray us. Now that you've agreed to being a part of us we must make sure you aren't going to be traitors."

Haechan nodded but Renjun frowned
"But I never agreed to joining."

"Well you have seen us now, so either we kill you or you join."
Taeyong responded. Not even looking at the boy

"Fine."
Renjun spat. Crossing his arms and sinking into the couch

"Anyways as I was saying. You'll be joining. I'll have someone show you around base. Once that is done you will come to my office and cover everything you need to know at this moment about NCT, what we do, our rules, and what you'll be doing. If you prove not only worthy but also trustworthy, then more will be told to you. But for now. Just the basics. And training starts tomorrow."

Taeyong finished his long explanation. Motioning for someone to come over

Haechan and Renjun looked up at the new person who they hadn't seen yet today

Renjun gasped

"Jeno Lee I can't believe you, you son of a bitch."
