Walls

Renjun POV

"Ah- sh-shit- fu- fuck that hurts, ah-."

Renjun was seated on his bed, rubbing his ankle which was now swollen and slightly purple and blue due to the bruise

"What the shit."
Renjun figured it was sprained

It just had gotten worse due to his constant usage of it ever since he hurt it back in the basement

"Hm. Looks pretty swollen."

Renjun leaped at the voice, behind him, hot breath hit the back of his neck

"WHAT THE SHIT!"
He leaped to the other side of the bed, falling on his butt, his foot landing underneath him, making him curl into a ball in pain

"AHHHH shit!"

"Damn. You cuss a lot."

Renjun bit his lip as to not cry in pain

Haechan stood and watched the other for a second before sitting down on the bed, across from Renjun

"Do you want help?"

"No."
Renjun replayed curtly

"Ok.... Do you NEED help though?"

Renjun pursed his lips. Not responding

"Ok I'll take that as a yes. Lemme see your foot."

He said scooting closer to Renjun, softly grabbing his leg and pulling it towards himself, pulling Renjun along also

Renjun now sat facing Haechan, his leg propped up on the other's crossed legs

Haechan glanced up at Renjun, staring at him through his messy bunch of hair

"Just tell me if it hurts ok?"

The older nodded. Not knowing why he was unable to speak at the moment. He was fascinated by the youngers beauty

Entranced by his mop of slightly damp brown hair, his eyes staring at him through his long lashes

Haechan looked back down

Lifting the foot his softly squeezed and poked, stopping every once in a while whenever Renjun would make a noise of discomfort

"Ow~"
Renjun flinched when Haechan poked the bruise a little too roughly

Haechan looked up at him
"Are you ok?"

Renjun nodded. His eyes glued to his hands that he was wringing together in his lap

After a few minutes of just pure silence Haechan cleared his throat saying

"Yeah. It's sprained. You need to stay off of it or else it's condition will get even worse and might end up in a break or something that can't be fixed."

"Really?"
Renjun asked, looking up

"Yeah."

"How do you know these things?"

"I've had a few classes in human biology and basic nurse training."

Renjun was in awe, this boy who played the role of the stupid, loud, popular boy was really just a really smart student who just had an outgoing personality

Renjun once again spoke
"How long is it going to take to get better?"

"Well. With a brace and crutches I'd say... A month maybe less."

"But I don't have either of those."

"Yeah I know."
Haechan nodded before looking up and smirking at the older

"But I have my ways."

"W-what do you mean?"
Renjun questioned. He didn't like where this was going

"Well. We past the infirmary earlier in our tour. And I'm assuming they have basic things like ankle braces and crutches."

"What are you saying?"

"I'm saying that tomorrow. I swipe some from their medic bay.... Well if I can find some crutches small enough for you."

Haechan then earned a slap on the arm from the older

"I'm not small."

"Ok bottom."

The older gasped at the sudden response

"Oh my- I am NOT a bottom."
He tried to defend himself

"Yeah sure. And I'm not Lee Donghyuck."

"You're right. You aren't. You're a snake."

"At least I can walk."

"At least I can be nice."

"At least I'm not a sub."

Renjun opened his mouth and then closed it again. His face turning bright red

"Shu- shut up."

He turned and lay down on the far left side of the bed, facing the wall, his back turned to the younger who snickered in victory

"Ok. Well. If we're going to share a bed. I don't want you to touch me in the middle of the night. So get your lazy ass up and help me build a wall."
Haechan instructed

"No."
Came a curt reply from the brooding Chinese

"Fine I'll do it myself."

Haechan got up, grabbing a few of the pillows that had been flung to the floor for some reason, also grabbing a few shirts and an towel, pilling them on the bed

He then began to place them in a line, cutting the bed in half with the barrier

He then lay down on his side of the bed, pulling his blanket over himself

Renjun did the same on his side with his own blanket

This was the most separated they could get while sleeping on the same side

There was no chance in hell Renjun told himself that he would ever get any closer in bed to Haechan. His sworn enemy
