Taeyong POV

"How is Renjun doing? Do you know?"

Taeyong asked, looking up from the paperwork

Johnny nodded, responding
"Yeah, Haechan said he's been doing a lot better."

"So do you think he's ready to go on a mission?"

Johnny shrugged
"I mean I suppose, you could ask him, but like it's been like 2 weeks."

Taeyong shrugged.
"Ok I'll assign him on our next mission"

Johnny nodded
"The one at Kang's?"

The leader nodded

"Ok, well we'll do that, and that's it."

Johnny nodded and began to leave the room before Taeyong stopped him again

"Oh Johnny."

"Yes boss?"

"The Kim's seem to be planning to move again, let's keep an eye on them, we need to get rid of them."

Johnny nodded, bowing
"Yes sir. Of course. We're trying our hardest."

"Well try harder, I need them dead."

"Yes sir."

Johnny left the room, closing the door behind him

Renjun POV

"Renjun do you think you could do another mission?"

Renjun looked up from the book he was reading as he was curled up on the couch

Johnny stood before him, awaiting the response

Renjun shifted in his seat, considering his answer

"Uh... Depends... Would I have to uh.."

"No. None of that, we just need you to extract some information and that's it."

"Mmm ok? What'll I need to do? What's the setting?"

Johnny sat down beside him, Renjun setting his book on the table beside him, giving the other his full attention.

Haechan POV

Haechan swung Taeyong's office door open, it hitting the wall with a loud 'BANG'

Taeyong calmly looking up from his paper, then looked back down

"YOU'RE SENDING HIM ON A MISSION?!"

"Ah yes. I was wondering when you were going to show up."

"HOW CAN YOU BE SO FUCKING CALM?! YOU CAN'T SEND HIM ON A MISSION! DO YOU EVEN FUCKING REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED LAST TIME?!"

Taeyong nodded
"Yes. He also said he was doing ok and he was fine with it, he won't be in the position to harm anyone. Don't worry."

Haechan scoffed, his tongue poking at the inside of his mouth, a terribly pissed off look on his face

"Oh. Don't worry? DON'T WORRY?! HE'S FUCKING TRAUMATIZED! AND YOU'RE TELLING ME TO 'NOT WORRY'?! IT'S BEEN LESS THEN TWO WEEKS!"

"Ok and?"

Haechan gripped the desk so tight his knuckles turned white

"UGH. Look here. I don't KNOW how you MAFIA people deal with things, but in the Real world, it takes more than a FUCKING. WEEK. to deal with something like that."

"I honestly don't care, he said he's ready, so he's ready."

"THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT."

"And how? Is this my fault exactly?"

"Because YOU didn't allow me to take a weapon. Because you're a stupid leader who only cares about some stupid revenge story."

Taeyong remained calm, placing his paper onto the neat stack, grabbing another as he picked up his pen and began reading through it, and then signing it

"You need to learn, that sometimes I tell you things to test you on your intuition. If you felt like you needed to bring a weapon, you should've snuck a knife."

Haechan was left speechless and to be honest, ready to kill this man, but he taeyong spoke before he could attack

"And besides. Why do you care? You don't even like him."

For the first time since Haechan's entrance, the calm leader looked up at him over the rim of his reading glasses

Haechan didn't say a word, but only backed out of the room, shutting the door behind him

Defeated.
