Haechan POV
Returning to his room after a long day of training, a pair of sandwiches in his hand
Knocking on the door, he heard a brief "come in." Before entering
He found Renjun sitting on the bed, his back facing the door, hunched over
"Hey. I brought food."
Haechan set the food on the table, walking towards Renjun
Placing a gentle hand on the other's shoulder, the boy flinched, moving away from Haechan's touch
"Ren- it's me. Haechan. It's ok."
"Don't touch me."
Renjun spoke, you could practically hear the anger in his every word
"Ren what's wrong?"
"Nothing."
He spoke. Something was obviously wrong
"Well, something's obviously wrong, you're not very good at hiding your anger-"
"Would you just shut up."
Haechan shut his mouth, nodding
"Ok. Well if you need to talk-"
"HAECHAN JUST. STOP. JUST.... JUST LEAVE."
Renjun turned around and glared at him furiously
Haechan stepped back, he felt tears pricking the back of his eyes
"Ok."
Grabbing a change of clothes, he turned and smiled at Renjun who watched him, a constant glare on his face
"I'm going to go sleep on the couch, goodnight Jun."
Renjun looked at him, confused
"Wait... Wait what?"
"You told me to leave."
"But-"
"It's fine Ren, you obviously need some time."
Haechan knew that what had happened to Renjun had caused some kind of trauma, he didn't think the older meant what he said, but space might be what he needed at the moment
"But-"
"Goodnight Renjun."
Haechan ended the conversation, walking out of the room with a sad smile on his face
Renjun POV
Renjun's shoulders fell, why did he say those things
He didn't know why, something just came over him
This has been happening ever since that day
Mood swings
Uncontrollable and unpredictable mood swings
Haechan was the last person he could be angry at
He didn't mean it
And now he felt so bad
All Haechan had done for him these past few days had been all for him
And what had he done?
Lashed out at him and made him sad
And Renjun hated himself for that
But his pride
Oh damn his pride
The boy was too prideful to walk that oh so small distance to ask Haechan for forgiveness
