Chapter 34: Wedding Day

Over the next month, everyone worked hard to plan the wedding, Jacy and Remus took care of all of the official things whilst Skaii, Misty and Melody took care of the decorations. The first thing on the to-do list was the wedding dress, then the bridesmaids and flower girl dresses. Then they moved onto choosing the venue and the decorations, choosing what flowers to have, how to decorate the aisle, the reception and the tables. Jacy and Skaii picked their rings together. Melody and Misty sorted out the guest list and the catering. Once all the preparations were set, they picked the date and sent out the invitations. Kira's house and Jacy's parents were the only Devils that came to the human Wedding, partly so there was less risk of revealing themselves and partly because some Devils weren't as interested in human Weddings. Jacy was setting up on the wedding day, getting dressed into his suit. The suit was tailored and fit perfectly. It was black with red trim on the sleeves to match his red shirt, there was also red trim on the pockets of his trousers and his shoes were black and polished. Remus was wearing a similar suit to the one he wore at the party, swapping his jeans out for formal trousers. The wedding venue was located at a castle with an enchanting flower field. In the center of the flower field was a beautiful white arch that was adorned with colourful flowers and had a stone path leading up to it. There were seats placed on both sides of the path to make an aisle, the seats had white covers with purple bows tied around the backs. There was a captivating view of the castle in the background of the scene they'd laid out for the ceremony. The guests started to arrive, and found their way to their seats. Jacy and Remus were standing waiting at the altar along with Skaii's Mother who was the chosen officiator. The Twins skipped happily down the aisle, throwing petals everywhere, wearing pink frilly dresses decorated with multicoloured flowers. Their hair had been braided and was also decorated with flowers. Misty, Alyssa and Kamalia walked down the aisle once the Twins had finished. They were wearing light metallic pink dresses with one sleeve on the left. The sleeve was ruffled and frilly, the dresses were fitted to accentuate their figures. They were all wearing matching pink high heels with a silver encrusted heel. Their hair was tied up into a curly chignon bun and adorned with silver hair jewelry. They were all carrying white and pink rose bouquets that were held together with a silver bow. Melody followed once they were done, wearing the same colour dress as the others with the same top, the only difference was the skirt which was flowy instead of fitted. Her shoes, hairstyle and bouquet were the same as the others. Skaii took a deep breath before taking her Father's arm and walking down the aisle. Her dress had a sweetheart neckline with a boobtube bodice that was made of lace, the skirt was princess style, flowy with a small train. The back of the dress was lace with a heart shape cut out on the back and the last part of the bodice was buttoned. There was a ribbon tied around her waist and into a trailing bow at the back. Her veil was lace, her hair had been curled and sectioned into an elegant half up. Sat on top of her veil was a silver glittering tiara. Slightly nervous she looked up at Jacy shyly and her nerves melted away when she saw him. Her Father took her hand and gently placed it in Jacy's. He smiled wanting to kiss her straight away,

"You look beautiful" he said, Skaii blushed pink,

"And you look even more handsome than normal" she said shyly. They both turned to look at Skaii's Mother who started by welcoming everyone and asking for their blessings upon the marriage before getting to the vows.

"Skaii and Jacy, please join hands. Jacy, please repeat after me" she said, Jacy did as she told him, tenderly taking Skaii's hands "I take you as you are"

"I take you as you are" Jacy repeated
