"Come on Amira let's drop you off with your dad" I said packing her baby bag. Today was my first day of college and I'm super excited and sad that I'm going to be gone all day away from Amira. I started getting her dressed putting her in a pink sun dress with her sandals then I brushed her wild crazy curly hair. "Ohhh mommy baby look nice!" I cooed putting her in her car seat. I put on my white Polo button up, denim joggers with my black Roshes. My hair was in two braids so I didn't have to do my hair, I put on my Birthday Girl necklace to match my bracelets and ankle bracelet. "Alright come on we out" I said picking up her car seat and my Nike duffel. And oh yes now I'm a dance teacher; well assistant. Walking downstairs Korey had the living room full of boys and girls making it look like a party or a get together. "Where's mommy?" I asked him. "She's at work" he said then blew smoke out of his mouth. He was smoking hookah. "Oh alright but have all this cleared out before I get back with my daughter" I said then connected Amira stroller to her car seat. I left the house and walked to Ashton house, it was way too nice outside. And besides Malachi was planning to pick me up after I drop Amira off. Ringing Ashton bell some random girl opened up the door. "Hey" she smiled. "Hi where's Ashton?" I asked pushing the stroller in almost running her over. Ashton always says that he wants to bounce back and be together but forever having these girls here with him. "Ashton?!" I yelled. And here he came running down the stairs shirtless. "Here you go!" I said throwing the baby bag at him then kissed Amira. "Mommy will see you later princess" I sang and then walked out of the house. He makes me so mad like I swear I was slowly giving in to him. "Yo what's wrong?" Ashton asked running behind me. "Its you! Like you feeding me all this bullshit like always and then go pull this shit off!!" I yelled crying. "What are you talking about Jaidell?" He asked me. "That girl all proud being there for you and shit!" I yelled wiping my face. And Ashton started laughing real hard. "I'm guessing she has nothing to do with you" I said feeling crazy how easily I snapped. "Its cute that you want me though" Ashton smirked and hugged me. "Man whatever. So who is she?" I asked him. "She's Rose make up artist she's getting a gig for modeling" Ashton said looking down at me. "Oh sorry. But let me get going I don't want to be late on my first day of school. Speaking of school how was your first day?" I smiled. "It was cool. I mean you know how that goes" Ashton shrugged. "Yeah mhmm all of the girls were in your face" I said rolling my eyes. "Its crazy how you sweat me" Ashton mocked me. And we started laughing. "I'll see you later. That's my ride" I smirked and walked over to Malachi car. "Don't get fucked up Jaidell!" Ashton yelled after me. I laughed and got in the car. "Hey Malachi" I iled and we hugged. "What's up Jaidell?" He smiled. And then he started driving towards my school. "Nothing just dropped my baby off with her dad" I said leaning back. "That's what's up" he smiled. I wish that I can easily get over Ashton which isn't easy at all. Malachi is like super cute but it's not even about his looks; he's also super sweet. "Malachi please don't hate me" I frowned. "What's up? You know I can't hate you" he said looking at me then stopping his car. We were right in front of the school, but I needed to let him know what's up. "Okay so I'm still stuck on stupid for my ex boyfriend but I don't want to be like it's a huge distraction. And I just need to think if this is what I really want or don't want" I said staring at him. I don't know if he's the most perfect boy I'm the world or just a serial killer planning to kill me later on, but he stayed calm the whole time. "Nah I understand where you coming from. Do you still need a ride to work?" He smiled. "Yeah that's if you want to" I said. "Its not even like that, I rather you making yourself happy first instead of us rushing into a relationship and you be unhappy" he said. "Awww thank you! Malachi I swear you're the best person ever!!" I said hugging him tight. "Thanks. Enjoy your first day" he smiled. "Thank you see you at five" I waved then walked into the building.
Getting to my first class which is Biology, I looked around and found a seat at the back. My eye sight is very good so I don't need to be so close towards the board. Pulling out my binder and pen a boy sat next to me. I can't stand how cute California boys can be. Keeping my eyes locked on my paper and the professor, I felt a tiny paper ball hit me. I rolled my eyes and looked over at the boy. "Oh you mean! Can I borrow a pen?" He smiled. "Here and its the first day of class and you don't have a pen? Boy your priorities are all messed up already" I said passing him a extra pen. "Thanks Oprah" he smirked. I wanted to laugh but I just went back to focusing. Class wasn't all that bad especially since its just the first day. I put all of my things in my bag and went to leave but the boy stop me. "Oprah you forgetting your pen" he called after me. "You play too much but thanks for reminding me. Tomorrow you better have a pen" I said snatching the pen and left to my next class which was Chemistry. Science isn't my favorite subject but I like hands on projects. Chemistry wasn't bad either and neither was Free writing. Walking out of the school building I waited by the corner for Malachi. "Oprah!" The same boy yelled for me. "My name is Jaidell and you are?" I asked tired of being called some damn Oprah ! "Cashmere but everybody calls me Cash. And Jaidell I was trying to tell you that you look so familiar" He said staring at me. I tilted my head to the side to look at him. "I don't remember you boy" I said. "Why you so mean?" He smiled at me. I just shrugged my shoulders and smiled seeing Malachi pull over to us. "Nice meeting you Cash" I waved and got in Malachi car. "You actually came... I thought you stood me up" I smiled hugging him. "Nah you the homie Jay Jizzle. How was class?" Malachi smiled at me. "It was okay I mean now I know my sleeping schedule has to be way better than before" I said. "Who's play boy?" He asked looking over at Cashmere. "Some boy I met in my bio class today he says that I look familiar. I think he playing and that was just a excuse to talk to me" I shrugged. And Malachi started laughing at me. "I be doing that sometimes and girls really be lying like yeah you look familiar too" Malachi laughed while we drove to the studio. "Un uh you not right but I just was like I don't remember you and that's because I didn't!" I laughed with Malachi. "You hella rude Jay Jizzle" he chuckled then licked his lips. "You can't be nice to everybody" I smiled and we continued to laugh parking the car. "You're nice to me" Malachi smiled then licked his lips again. I playfully rolled my eyes "you're different". We got out and walked into Future Fame building, Malachi plays basketball upstairs while the dance studio is in the basement. "Don't leave me Chi!" I said hugging him
"I won't just call me when you finish up your twerking classes" he laughed. "Yeah whatever" I laughed and walked down the stairs. Nobody was there not even Patricia and she's always here. "Where's my girls?" I asked Amber the desk assistant. "Pamela took them on a trip for three days" she smiled. "Really? She should've told me about the trip. But thank you anyway" I smiled and walked into the elevator. I guess I get to see Malachi play ball for at least two hours. Walking off the elevator I can hear Malachi laughing already so I made my way to him. "What you doing up here?" He smiled. "My dancers are gone for three days" I said kinda happy that I wont be leaving sweaty. "Oh alright and Coach isn't here yet so we cooling on the bleachers" he smiled. I sat down right next to him and seen the Leon boy staring at me. "What's up fronter?" He smiled my way. "How and hey?" I smiled looking at him. "Bro she curved the whole basketball team jacking she had a nigga now look who she's with" Leon smirked. "Malachi and I are friends and two I did have a nigga. He's actually my baby father now so from a scale from one to ten how dumb do you feel?" I smirked. "Ten!" Kiara yelled running over to me. And I started laughing. "Hey Ki!" I smiled hugging her. "What you doing here? And who you just went off on?" She laughed sitting on my lap. "Leon" I laughed feeling my phone vibrate. "Let me go take this call" I said and walked out answering the phone.
"Yes Ashton?"
"I miss you"
"Awww but Ashton we aren't together"
"And that's my point Jaidell. If we were really done that girl would've been here for me and you would've never been going crazy"
"Yeah I guess you're right"
"Sleep over at my house?"
"I have a ride already"
"Jaidell stop playing with me my nigga. Amira and I are going to pick you up from work and then we sleeping over at my house"
"Okay Ash. And besides I was just messing with you ugly"
"Now this since when I became ugly?"

"Yeah whatever thickems just be outside when I pull up"

"You right" and he hung up the phone first. I mugged my phone like if he could see me then slide it back in my pockets. Coach Nate held the door while I walked through. "Thanks Coach" I smiled and walked over to the bleachers. "Its game time. Get up boys" he said to Malachi and them. So I scooted closer to Kiara. "Heyyyy girl" I whispered to her. "Heyyy but um I'm having a sleep over this Friday before I go to school. Well before we all go away" Kiara pouted. "Yay but I'm going to be so emotional on Sunday. Only if we could stay young" I sighed. "Right but its always weekend passes, vacations and holidays so don't pout just yet" Kiara said. "You are right" I smiled and started watching them play ball. "Okay Jai be for real do you think Vincent cute?" Kiara randomly asked me. "Why?" I asked raising my eye brow at her. "Somebody has a thing for you and now that you're single. Magic can happen" Kiara danced in her seat. I started laughing and shook my head no. "Why are you saying no? Vincent is a papi! He's staying in Cali but he's just going to be at UCLA, you can go visit bae anytime you want. And he's getting a dope ass car for graduating" Kiara bragged for him. But it was useless. "I hope he's going to find the perfect girl to match his dopeness" I shrugged making Kiara stare at me like I'm crazy. "Why can't it be you? Jaidell I swear he isn't anything like Ashton. Yes he's a pretty boy but he even treat his groupies like they his girlfriend. Like he's the sweetest person ever" Kiara said still trying to convince me. "And that's the point he isn't Ashton. Yes I know it may seem dumb that I can't get over him but I swear I want to. Like Malachi have a date Saturday and I'm not even excited about it. I wish I can be but Ashton has this hold on me" I said wiping my falling tears. Kiara hugged me and rubbed my back. "Yeah its crazy. I know" I laughed it off. "Yes I'm scared to be in love now even though Jibril and I are slowly getting there" Kiara smiled all goofy. And I started laughing. "Awww that's so cute, but how's the girls? They barely come around. Its them late night parties" I said. "They good but um Cassie and Giselle had a fight the other day" Kiara snickered but started laughing real loud. The boys were too loud themselves to even hear us, Coach yells the whole time. "Why?!" I asked her. "Somebody stole somebody man but you have to see them around each other" Kiara laughed. "You ain't right for laughing but tell me the story heffa don't be stingy" I said hitting her thigh. "Okay so Kendrick through a pool party with Aaron again, so you know they invited everybody like it was flooded with girls and boys. But that's not even the point so anyways I showed up with Jibril and his boys so I didn't know who Giselle brought to the party until Cassie showed up with Tiffany. Cassie started cursing some random not out like bad but what caught my attention was Giselle started yelling at Cassie getting in her face and all that; just defending the boy. Long story short Giselle and the boy was sneaking around Cassie back until Giselle really wanted to be all his like no sharing so they started fighting but I broke that shit up" Kiara said explaining the story. "Okay my first question is who won?" I asked and we both started laughing. "Truthfully Cassie was giving it to Giselle but Selly gave Cassie the only cookie" Kiara said. "You lying?! Oh no I have to talk to them after I see what's up with Ashton!" I said shaking my head. "Yeah they acting up over dick that's why all my nigga say is hi and bye and he's right out of their faces. I would hate to go to jail for murder" Kiara sounding so serious. "I hear you but Taylor had the best ass whooping ever" I laughed making Kiara laugh with me.
Leaving out with the boys and Kiara, Ashton called my phone.
'What's up? I'm walking out now"
"I have to pay for your cab, Amira just fell asleep"
"Nah its cool."
"Are you still coming though?"
"Yeah I have to go home first though"
"Alright". Kiara looked at me and started smiling. "What got you showing all thrity two teeth?" I asked her. "Bae at twelve oclock" she whispered. So I looked thinking it's Jibril that she's happy about, but no it was Vincent for me. "I'm here with Malachi. How does that look?" I asked putting my hands on my hips. Kiara shrugged her shoulders and started laughing. "You annoying and I still didn't kick your ass for giving him my number in the first place and PS I was fake hype because he thought you was my cousin" I giggled and she started twerking. "Move! You a mess" I laughed pushing her. And Vincent walked up to us. "Hey I haven't seen you in forever" I smiled at him. "What's up Jaidell? And congrats on your baby girl" he smiled. "Thanks but rumor is you're going to UCLA? Hmm congratulations" I smiled. "Nah rumor has it that you're single..... Is that true?" He smirked. "Yes I'm single" I giggled. "That's what I like yo hear, unless you're not happy being single. Then I can fix that for you" he smiled. And I started laughing at him. 'That was real cute Vincent but I came here with Malachi how thotty do that look?" I asked him. Vincent started smiling then looked back at Malachi making jokes with the guys on the Summer team. "That would just me getting the girl of my dreams" he shrugged. "Hmm that's not right but slide in my Dms tonighy" I said then started laughing at how he tried to actually slide. "You ready Jay Jizzle?" Malachi asked me. "Yeah come. Later Kiara and Vincent. Kiara call me heffa and you should stop by" I waved then in the car with Malachi. "You sleepy?" I asked him. "Nah why what's up?" He asked while putting on his seat belt. "Nothing" I said and put on my seat belt. Malachi turned up the music then started driving towards my house. The whole ride I was thinking about Ashton and I or should I move on like Kiara said. "You good?" Malachi asked me. "Yeah I'm good" I smiled. "You sure?" He smiled looking at me. I started smiling. "Even if I'm not I'll be" I sighed taking off my seat belt. I just realized he had stopped in front if my house. "This will brighten up your day" he said and leaned over then started kissing me so I kissed back. My stomach was tingling and all, I pulled him closer to me and bit down on his bottom lip. "Thank you" I smiled letting him go. "Now go enjoy your night" he smiled. I leaned over to his side and kissed his cheek. "Get home safe and call me" I blushed. "Thank you and I got you" he smiled. I got out of the car and walked into my house. "Hey mommy and Michael" I waved at them. "Hi baby and how was school?" She asked me. "Hi Jaidell and where's my grand baby at?" Michael asked me. I don't mind him calling her that because he have the craziest bond with her. "With her dad, I'm about to go over there. He want us to sleep over" I shrugged. "Oh okay" he smiled. "Where's Jamyra?" I asked them. "With Korey, he took her to the park" Michael said. "Awww check him out but let me go upstairs" I said then went to my room. I stripped out of my clothes and went in the shower. Getting dressed I just put on my Nike short seat and my flip flops. I put my hair back in a ponytail then packed Amira more stuff and my bag as well. "Okay I'm leaving" I said walking towards the door. But they weren't in the living room anymore so I just grabbed my keys and left out of the door. When I got to Ashton house, Amira was just waking up. "Mommy is here Nuni. I missed you all day" I said picking her up as she smiled. I started attacking her with my kisses while she laughed. "Hi baby" Ashton and kissed my cheek. "What's up Ashton? How was you two day?" I asked him. "We was chilling. You smell that?" He smiled. "Yeah it smells good, Rose cooked?" I asked walking towards the kitchen. "Nah that's all me... Just for you" Ashton smirked. "Awww that's too cute. Thank you Ashton" I smiled. Ashton had made bake marcarooni with two cheeses, barbeque chicken, potato salad, corn bread and Spanish Rice with beans. "You're too cute for this" I smiled and put Amira in her swing. It was too cute how she looked at me like I was crazy or she was about to curse me out. "Awww mommy sorry baby" I smiled and picked her back up. "That's why she do that, she already knows you and Rose are a sucker for that look" Ashton said taking her and putting her back in her swing. "But I haven't seen her all daaaay" I whined watching her stare at the TV now. "See she's not even mad no more and you seen her all the way until three" Ashton said passing me my plate. "Thank you" I smiled and took a picture of it posting it on IG.

I started eating my food and Ashton randomly laughed. "What happened?" I asked still stuffing my face. "Your toes still twinkle from eating that's fat ass hell Jai" he chuckled and leaned back on the couch. "Shut up but you did a good job with this food. What happened to my grilled cheese making boyfriend?" I asked him. "He's a grown man now. I got a family to feed you feel me?" He smirked then licked his lips. "Heard you Ash" I giggled then went back to eating my food. The food was so good that I started pouting when it was done. "What's wrong shawty?" Ashton asked me. "I want more but I'm too full" I pouted but then started laughing from the way Ashton looked at me. "It was that good?" He questioned me. "Yes boy you can cook see if you was my boyfriend I would kiss you for the good work you did but you can have a hug" I smiled then pulled him into a hug. "You play too much" Ashton said and playfully pulled my hair. "You are the one who play too much. Playa" I laughed teasing him. "You wild mean to me and all I do is sweat you" Ashton said. "Awww the baby wants a kiss?" I said holding his face. He started smiling and slapped my hand off his face. "Your daughter is a bum" he laughed. I looked over at Amira and she was sleeping again. "But she's three months, she's still going to go to sleep like she just wasn't up" I laughed and rested my leg in between Ashton legs. "Only my girlfriend can do that" Ashton said. "Well I'm your baby mava so tell shawty keep it pushing" I laughed at myself. "You annoying" Ashton laughed and kissed my nose. "You wouldn't want to kiss me anyways" I shrugged and looked up at him. I was laying on his chest now. "Why not?" He asked me. And this is when I can see if he really want it to be a us or he just don't want me to be happy. "I kissed him today" I said looking at him. "You what?! Kissed who?!" He snapped and I started laughing. "I'm not laughing Jaidell! Don't fucking kiss my daughter either! Like I dead ass just made you dinner that I didn't have to and you doing shit like that!!" He yelled at me. "Ashton shhh and relax I'm lying" I laughed just so he can calm down. Even though I did kiss Malachi now he knows how it feels to feel dumb thinking your girlfriend is being faithful to you. But Ashton wouldn't calm down his nose was flaring still and he was breathing real hard. "Come here you want a kiss?" I smiled at Ashton. "I don't see the joke in this Jaidell" Ashton said. "Ashton did you like how that feel?" I asked him. "You know I didn't" he mumbled. "So picture feeling like after you witness getting cheated on and thinking about all the times you thought I was being faithful" I said and got off of him. "I been told sorry I even let Taylor go because it don't feel right calling somebody else baby! Like Jaidell what do you want me to do?!" Ashton pleaded staring at me with tears rolling down his eyes. "Nothing just give me a kiss" I smirked. Now I got the upper hand with Ashton. "No. I'm serious Jaidell" Ashton said still upset. "So am I. It was to see how would you react" I said and he sucked his teeth and stared at the TV. "Ashton for real" I whined and he just faced me. So I tapped kissed him and went to go to his room but he grabbed me back down. "So you my shawty again or what?" Ashton asked me. "You tell me" I said. "You never stopped being my shawty" he smiled. "You got your answer then, now let me go study what I learned today" I smiled then got up and walked to his room. I hope he just don't have me looking stupid once again.
