Basically Melody is second best to Renesmee. Jasper is the only one who truly cares about Melody, at least that's what she thinks. She is the most closest to Jasper than anyone else, not even her twin and parents. Melody hates being the center of attention and loves her privacy. She would much rather stay home alone, then go out like a normal kid would. She doesn't like extravagant things, and likes for things to be simple. Melody doesn't talk at all although at times where Edward can hear her thoughts because Melody commonly forgets she has her shield up or has her physical shield instead of her Mental one. Jasper was the one to name Melody, and her name has a lot if background to it Her first and second names originate from her love of music. Her third and forth names are from Edward human surname, and Edward's human mother's name.
