"Ammi aapki shakal dekh kar hi mujhe darr lag raha hai. Aisi kaunsi zaroori baat karni hai aapko jo akele me hogi?" Eshal whined slumping on her bed as her mother Nadeela pushed her inside locking the door behind.
A week had passed since Haider finally claimed that he was ready to marry Eshal now that her graduation was also completed.

But the only thing and also the hardest was to tell Eshal about Dadajaan and Dadijaan's last wish and then see her reaction.

"Zabaan kam chalao aur kaan khol kar meri suno." Her mother answered back with sass.

"Tou maine kab mana kiya." Eshal mumbled to herself making her mother slap her head.

"Ammi, aap mujhe maarna chhod de ab. Meri graduation bhi ho gayi hai aur kuch dino me shaadi bhi ho jayegi. Kab tak maarti rahengi iss phool si beti ko?" Eshal dramatically whined.

"Kisne kaha graduation complete ho gayi hai? Result tou aane do. Iss baar mujhe tumhare fail hone ke chances poore poore lag rahe hai." Her mother shook her head with a known look.
Eshal and the twins were only the ones in this house who weren't good in studies and neither tried to.
Eshal still had an option to leave it but Azhar and Ayaan had to study no matter what which they hated.

"Ammi! Aisa tou na kahein. Ab kaisa bhi result ho, me waapis nahi dungi exams." Eshal shook her head.

"Aao. Idhar baitho." Her mother patted on the space beside her.
With a huff as her mother completely ignored her statement, Eshal went to sit on the bed and then placed her head on her lap, getting into the warmth.

"Tum jaanti ho na tumhare Dadajaan aur Dadijaan tumhara nikaah karwana chahte the jaise hi tumhari graduation poori ho jayegi." Nadeela begum asker as she caressed her hair.

"Haan. Aur aapko ye bhi pata hai ki mujhe koi problem nahi hai isse." Eshal replied.
Her eyes were already twinkling at the thought of her marriage happening in the coming days. Her dream might come true soon.

"Bilkul jaanti hu me apni gudiya ko. Isliye tou maine tumhe iske baare me baat karne aayi hu. Jaanti ho, tumhare liye hamari nazar me koi hai jo tumse shaadi karna chahta hai." Nadeela begum said making Eshal's eyes widen.

"Kya? Ammi, aap sach keh rahi ho? M-Mujhse koi shaadi karna chahta hai? Vo ladka handsome tou hai na? Aur body kitni hai? Mujhe utha tou lenge na?" Eshal blabbered getting all hyped.

"Aye ladki. Abhi ye sab sochne ka time hai ya ye jaan ne ka ki vo kaun hai? Tumhare paas sirf ek hafta hai apna jawaab dene ko tou baaki sab chhodo aur apne haan ya na ki socho. Zindagi bhar ka sawaal hai mero gudiya koi choti baat nahi hai." Nadeela begum made her understand the reality.

"Aisa tou na kahein ammi. Chaliye ye batayein, kaun hai mera hone wala shohar." Eshal asked with a grin.

"Abhi hone wala shohar nahi bana hai vo tumhara. Aur uska naam hai Haider." Nadeela begum replied.

"Kya ammi? Mere naseeb me Haider naam ke log hi hai kya. Aur aap ye sochiye jab mere hone wale shohar ka naam bhi Haider hai tou Haider bhaijaan ko kaisa feel hoga. Vo bohot weird ho jayenge. I am sure." Eshal reasoned with her mother with a known look and all the while Nadeela begum was looking at her as if she had grown two horns.

"Haye allah. Meri beti hi aisi kyu nikli." Her mother mumbled.
"Eshal me duniya me kisi bhi Haider ki baat nahi kar rahi. Haider se mera matlab hai apna Haider. Tunhare Taya Abbu aur Tayi Ammi ka beta Haider. Tumhara cousin Haider." Nadeela begum continued.

"Kyaaaaaaaaa." And Eshal fell back on the bed with a thud.

"Ammi ye kya keh diya aapne? H-Haider bhaijaan se nikaah? Nahiiii. Meri zindagi barbaad ho jayegi. Mere saare armaan dhul jayenge. Ammi please keh dein ki aap mazaak kar rahi thi. Mera dil baitha ja raha hai." Eshal blabbered making a crying face.
