It's been a week or so since we've been back. I haven't been really talking to Faith for some reason. I'll text her, but she'll take forever to respond or when I call her it'll go straight to voicemail. I really hope this is not another Eliana situation all over again.
We didn't even get to spend our first New years together because I haven't talked to her. I mean i'm not mad at her or anything cause there may be something wrong with her.
I was currently on my way to her house right now. I made her a gift basket with some flowers, candy she likes, a blanket, some wing stop, and a hand written letter.
Once I pulled up I got out grabbing my purse and everything else. I locked my car then went up to the door ringing the doorbell.
I was about to walk away cause she took too long to open the door.
"He- oh my God what's wrong?" I said stepping in the house and closing the door behind me
She looked like she's been crying and hasn't slept in days.
I sat the basket and my things down on the island. I put her food in the microwave then made my way upstairs to her room where she was.
"Baby" I said walking in seeing her laying in the bed
I took off my shoes and clothes off then got in the bed with her she immediately came next to me laying her head on my chest.
"I'm so sorry I should've came days ago I just thought you needed space from me" I said playing in her hair
"It's fine" she sniffed
"What's going on?" I asked
She sat up clearing her throat
"Uhm my mom died a couple years ago in a car accident with my little brother. The day they died and my little brothers birthday was a few days ago and it's been taking a toll on me heavy. Usually I would spend the day they passed and their birthdays with my family, but since they live in Louisiana I spend them alone now" she said playing with her fingers
"Hey your not alone you have me, my family, and your friends. Baby you don't have to spend anything alone because your not alone. I'm sorry if I would of known I honestly would've been right here with you" I said grabbing her hand
"Thank you" she said pulling me in a hug
"You don't got to thank me that's what a girlfriend is for" I smiled
"Now go freshen up i'll clean around the house" I said
She nodded getting up and I did the same.
"Thank you again" she said before going in the bathroom
I smiled putting on some music then I started cleaning up her room then I put back on my clothes. I put a new set of sheets on the bed and put the other ones in the washer.
I fed Bambi and gave her water then let her outside.
I lit a candle so it can smell good in here then I warmed up Faiths food I grabbed a Snapple out the fridge before heading upstairs.
"Here you go" I said handing her her food and juice
"Thank you mama" she smiled before kissing my lips
"No problem" I smiled before sitting on the bed
"You ever think about getting Bambi a friend to play with ?" I asked
"Oh now you like dogs?" she asked
"I been liked dogs I just didn't like the way yours was chasing me" I said laughing making her laugh
