"Damon what do you want?" I snap answering my phone.

"Katherine woke Mikael," He states.

I stop in my tracks, "What?"

"You don't sound happy. I mean we can finally get rid of klaus for good," Damon replies.

I breathe heavily, "What makes you think we can even trust Mikael? How do you know he won't just kill us afterwards?"

"I don't but it's a risk I'm willing to take," He says.

I shake my head, feeling a sense someone is watching me.

"Well, I'm going home at the moment, but Elena and I can meet you at the boarding house tomorrow morning," I suggest unconvincingly.

"Yeah. Alright."

The next morning

Elena and I walk into the Salvatore's living room, spotting Stefan and Damon stood there with a middle aged man.

I walk up to him, "So you're the infamous Mikeal?"

He smirks, "Yes I am dear. And you are?"

I stare at him highly uncomfortable, "Danielle Gilbert."

He puts his hand out and I slowly and hesitantly shake it.

He turns to Elena, "You must be the doppelgänger."

She nods, "My name is Elena Gilbert."

He grins looking between us giving me an eerie feeling as though he just formulated a new plan in his head.

"So what's the plan?" I ask taking a seat next to Stefan on the sofa.

"We're gonna lure Klaus back to mystic falls," Damon states.

I roll my eyes, "And how are we going to do that?"

He grins at me.

Stefan presses call on his phone, holding it up to his ear.
