"Good morning," He smirked, his eyes focused on mine.
"Go away," I spat stomping my way to the bathroom.
"Not a morning person, huh?" He calls out.
"Not a person who enjoys living," I correct, starting the shower as I pull the clothes from my body.
"That's weird," He adds.
"Why?" I ask.
"It's just, you seemed to be enjoying living last night. A little too much in my opinion."
I heard him chuckle, and I could almost picture the smirk that followed.
"You're so funny," I hiss sarcastically.
"What's with all the compliments today, Bambina?"
"Go away, I'm trying to shower!"
I ignored his presence and climbed into the shower, letting the water cascade over my body.
---
Shutting my eyes, I let the conditioner run from my hair.
As soon as I had shut them, a pair of cold hands reached my waist.
"Why are you here, Vincenzo?" I groan.
"I'm taking a shower, what about you?" He asked sarcastically, grabbing his own shampoo from beside me.
"I guess you being here, is just a delightful treat."He added, before rubbing the soap into his hair.
"Just get out, I'll be done soon anyway." I sigh.
"Hmm, tempting offer. One that I have to decline sadly."
Is this his new attempt to torture me? If it is, it was working.
His cold fingers grabbed my chin and tilted my head back a little bit. He then surprisingly began to massage more soap into my hair.
"Vincenzo, I just washed my hair." I groan.
"Too bad."
I sigh.
Why was he here? There was a deeper reason behind why he felt the need to come in here. There always was, whether he wanted to gain my trust or he just wanted to annoy me; there was still a deeper reason.
"Seriously, what do you want?" I ask.
"Seriously, I want nothing." He mocks.
"Don't lie,"
"Maybe, it's you who wants something." He smirks.
"Yes, I do actually. I want to go home, back to my normal life."
"And do what? Be swallowed by guilt? At this point, you should be thanking me,"
"Thanking you? Really, why would I ever do that?" I ask.
"Because I'm giving your worthless life meaning."
"You're giving my life meaning by using me as an accessory and the key to your alliance?"
"Touche."
"I hate you," I sigh.
"Really? I don't believe you."
Taking a deep breath, I slowly exhale.
"Vincenzo, please. I want to go home."
"To visit?" He asked, his warm finger tracing down my spine.
