Chapter 20

Time skip one month + Mike's P.O.V

Jeremy and I are back to our normal lives, no Vincent, no Doll, no more of Jeremy's dad who is named, Bruce, everything is going great. Jeremy isn't stuttering any more, which is great. Though I want to take our love to the next level, if you know what I mean... Jeremy and I have been together for almost a year... my birthday is coming up, and so is Jeremy's. I was lost is thought, sitting on my bed, just dazed.

"Mike, are you there?" I snapped out of my daze. I looked to Jeremy, worry shone in his green eyes. I was dazed once again, his green eyes always seem to cast a spell on me."MIKE!" Jeremy screamed in my ear. I jumped, almost off the bed. I hear little giggles from a certain Jerbear.

"Haha, very funny." I mumbled. Jeremy sat on his knees and pouted crossing his arms."Jer.." I lift up my left arm, and stroke his cheek. He sucked in a deep breath and blushed a tint of pink. He exhaled. He looks at me and buries his cheek on my hand. I smile warmly, he smiles back."Jer, did I ever tell you that you have the best smile ever, your eyes cast a spell on me that is unbreakable, your shyness is adorable, everything about you is perfect, and I love you a lot for those things. The flaws that you have makes you, who you are." Jeremy blushes many shades of red.

"Mike, thank you very much. I can't explain how much I love you, all the things you've done is forgivable. I can't bear to loose you ever again." I blush a little by what he said. Jeremy got up from sitting on his knees and walked next to me. He smiled, tears forming in his eyes; he then jumped on me hugging me tightly. I hug back tightly.

"Jer... don't ever leave me... please." I say. I felt a nod on my shoulder, I also felt my shirt getting wet."It's okay... I'll always be here for you." We part from the hug, Jeremy looking at me tears steaming down his face, I wipe them.

"I love you, Mike."

"I love you too, Jerbear." The doorbell rang, Peppercorn barking at the man or woman."I'll get it." I say, before I get up I kissed Jeremy's head. I walk downstairs, Peppercorn sitting at the front door waiting for it to be opened. I scoot him over, I unlock the door and opened it a little. It was just the mailman.

"Hello, is this Mr. Schmidt?" I nod."Do you also live with..." He grabs two envelopes."Mr. Fitzgerald?"

"Yes." He hands he the envelopes."Do I need to sign any thing?"

"No, these are your paychecks." I nod. The mailman then walks off.'Yes finally.' I think.

"Peppercorn, let's go see what Jeremy's reaction will be." I say running, I hear paws chasing after me. I run up the stairs and so does Peppercorn.

Jeremy's P.O.V

I was lost in thought, until I heard running. The door bursts open, Mike and Peppercorn walked towards me."Hey Jer, sorry if we scared you, but the mailman came and gave us this." Mike held out two envelopes, he handed me one."It's our paychecks." I jumped up in happiness, we were running low on money. Peppercorn jumped on the bed with me."Let's open it." Mike said. I start to open it, there inside was a piece of paper that held our money. Mike opened his, he was taking out the paycheck, I did the same. We both looked at the paycheck, my mouth went flying open.

"What the... $2,500? But our boss was always cheap."

"Mine is 3,000. I guess it's because I worked there longer." I nod my head in agreement."Well we sure needed this."

"Yep, we did." I say. Mike sat next to me. Peppercorn getting off the bed and out the bedroom door, he then closed the door."What the? How did he close the door?" I was confused.

"I've been reaching him a few things." Mike wrapped his arm around me, I snuggled in his chest. I look up to him and kissed his chin. I saw a small tint of pink on his cheeks. He looks down on me and smirks, he leans down and bites my neck, a moan almost comes out of my mouth. He pins me down to the bed, I yelp in surprise.'What is he doing?' I think."Mike, what are you doing?" I ask, he then kisses my neck again.

"You.~" He purrs in my ear. I gulp.
