"Bran?"
Taehyung whispered and Bran smiled at him.
"Glad that you remember me Tae. Y...you changed a lot."
"Yeah" Taehyung said and started walking away.
"ab....Tae?"
Taehyung stopped on his tracks and turned.
"Kim Taehyung"
"S...sorry Taehyung."
"Better" Tae turned and started walking away but Bran again called him.
"Taehyung...Can we have a talk?"
"Do I know you?"
"Tae...I am your ex. We are still friends?"
"No!"
"Tae please....god has given me a last chance before death to apologize for my mistakes."
Tae frowned at his words.
"Last chance before death?"
"I....I have cancer Tae..last stage. I am gonna die soon. I guess god is giving me punishments for my sins. I want to apologize to you before I die. Please give me one chance Tae."
And no matter how cold Tae was, he surely felt sympathy towards Bran when he heard about his fake disease because obviously he was his first love.
"Say....what do you wanna say?"
"Not here...please come to the airport canteen."
"I have a flight Bran."
"Your flight still has time...please." Tae thought for a while and sighed before following him to the canteen.
"Now say fast."
"Tae first of all I am really sorry for what I did to you. I know you love me...."
"Loved....I loved you...in past."
"Ye...yeah and I am sorry for breaking your heart. I am really sorry for saying those things to you. After leaving you, I understood that I can't live without you but I had no courage to face you. I left her too and after that I came to know about my disease and I decided to go far away from you but now that god has given me a chance, I want to apologize sincerely Tae. I want to say...I still love you Tae. Please forgive me."
Taehyung sighed before looking up at Bran.
"I am glad that you realised your mistakes and I am sorry to hear about your disease but let me clear one thing....I have a boyfriend and I love him a lot. Now that if you're done saying what you wanted to, I'd like to take my leav–"
"Sir your orders!" The waiter put a coffee and a hot chocolate on the table.
"I am sorry I can't–"
"Tae please...this is my apology. Please accept it...please."
"I am..."
"Please."
Tae finally sighed and nodded, unable to see the smirk on the other's face.
AFTER SOMETIME
Bran was smirking evilly, looking at Tae who was now giggling cutely.
"Kookie....tell me na, why are you here?"
"Obviously to surprise you baby. You liked it?" And Tae nodded immediately.
"Yess....I love you Kookie. I love to see you. I am so happy that you are here. My kookie is here for me."
"Yes I am here for you baby...only you. Now comeon, tell your friends fast that you are not going with them so that I can show you the real surprise."
