The next day at school, the four teens are in the middle of a test, JJ and Everleigh trying to cheat off of each other, but just ended up flirting anyways.

The door opens, but no one bothers to look up at who it is.

"Mr. Sunn, can I borrow Pope for a minute?" The man asks, making everyone look up.

"We're in the middle of a test." Mr. Sunn replies.

The man continues, "I'm from the Vanderhorst Foundation."

"Mr. Heyward," Mr. Sunn calls over, "it's for you."

"Thank you." Pope says quietly as he walks out.

JJ and Everleigh look at each other in confusion, but realize the teacher isn't paying attention and start to cheat off of other people.

Before they know it, Pope comes back into the classroom, looking like he's about to break into a sprint.

"Pope what the hell?" Everleigh whispers.

"Okay, what was that?" Kiara asks.

Pope simply holds up the letter, showing his three friends.

A wax sealing was on the back, with the wheat symbol on it.

Everleigh's hand slaps her mouth, making everyone look at her.

"Is that the wheat symbol?" Kiara asks quietly.

"Yeah." Pope nods.

"What the f... fu... fudge." JJ exclaims.

Everleigh bites her bottom lip, fighting an outburst of laughter. She notices JJ's test folded into a paper airplane in his hand. She buries her head in her arm to hide her face.

"Is this a game of tag?" JJ asks as he follows Pope and Kie to the library, Everleigh following behind him.

"I don't know." Kiara responds.

"Am I gonna have to beat you with your protractor? What's going on?" JJ asks again.

"Protractor?" Everleigh says in confusion, "That's a big word."

Kiara ignores the two, "Seriously, Pope, you are driving me insane."

"Okay so that guy was from the scholarship committee." Pope whispers. "Take a look at this." He says, holding out the letter.

JJ rips the letter out of his hand, holding out so him and Everleigh could read it.

"Read it." Pope tells them.

JJ pulls it out of the envelope looking at it for a second.

"Out loud." Kiara tells them.

JJ looks at Everleigh, "I can't read cursive."

"You think I can?" Everleigh asks, raising her brows at JJ.

Kiara takes the letter out of JJ's hand.

Dear Mr. Heyward

I am reaching out because I have material evidence that can exonerate John B. Routledge. It is of vital importance that you come and meet with me in person at my offices at 27 King Street, Charleston at 8:00 p.m. sharp tonight. Please come alone.

Regards, C. Limbery

The group looks at Pope, who is pacing back and forth.

"Charleston?" JJ asks in disbelief.

"That's like an eight hour drive, plus the ferry." Everleigh says.
