The moment she felt the pain in her chest, she knew something wasn't right.
Skye gasped for air, and fell down on the ground.
"What... Is... Happening?"
"There is something happening to your body in the physical world," Sanchez said. "So we better hurry."
They were somewhere underground, and Skye couldn't see much. But the pain went away, eventually.
"Where are we?"
"Puerto Rico," Sanchez replied. "But we should see Raina any...Ah, there she is."
"What is she going to-"
"You're really asking to much," Sanchez sighed. "Come'on. You'll understand in a few minutes."

"Each time we save her, I ask myself: Is this what Skye would want?"
"We didn't come this far to quit," May said.
"We...Get...Plane!!!"
"They're alive... Maybe we can-"
"BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP!"
Skye started to convulse again, and Simmons started reanimation.
"Fitz, come'in, what's your status?!" May yelled.

                                                                             *

Daisy Johnson.
Quake.
It all made sense now.
"I don't know if you've made your choice, but whatever is gonna happen, I'll tell you this."
Sanchez sat down next to her in the corridor. They were watching how Simmons was reanimating Skye, but surprisingly... She didn't feel any pain.
"Having powers... It's horrible. Having the responsibility to use them for good stuff, controlling them well... It may terrify you. But when you get them, you know you're chosen for the greater good. To place your mark on the world. Having powers, it's just what you gonna do with them."
Skye gave no response.
"Have you made your choice, Skye?"
Again no response.
"Never mind. I know you have. Then is this where our ways will part, for a while. We will meet again. Sooner then you might think."

"NO, DON'T GIVE IT TO HER!!!"
Coulson ran into the med pod, but he was already too late. Simmons had injected the drug into Skye her blood stream.
"I was losing her anyway, what harm can it do?"
Everyone started to look at the screen which was monitoring her vitals.
"C'mon girl."
The numbers on the screen changed.
"It's working."
They started to smile, but then Skye made a sound like she was choking, and she started to convulse.
"She's spiking-"
"Stop it! How can we stop it?"
"Skye!"
Simmons was almost to tears.
"What's happening?"
"I don't-"
"Skye!"
"Do something, we have to do something!"
Skye fell back on the bed. Her vitals were normal again.
"Her heartbeat... She's stabilising."
"Simmons?"
Simmons smiled.
"Can someone tell me what we just saw?"
"The girl was a fighter," Tripp said. "What was the stuff you just gave her?"
Simmons looked at Coulson.
"The only thing I know is that it worked."
"You're a real miracle worker."
"You did it," May said quietly to Coulson.
He gave no response. He only left the room.

                                                                          ...

"So, the girl did survive?"
Two teenagers were drinking in a bar in Los Angeles. The girl dropped some stuff from a little bottle, obviously alcohol, into her drink.
"She choose to live. I hadn't expect anything else."
"Will she remember anything?"
"I've taken our trip away from her. She won't remember that. But you know what they say. In the end, they always remember. The good things, and the bad."
"Just like I know you."
She only gave him a smile.
