"Sanchez?"
No response. May sighed. This could take a while.
"Nyla?"
Still no response.
"Coulson and I heard from Fitz that you were upset, so he asked me to-"
The door went open, Sanchez pulled May in, and she closed the door again.
"Let me guess... I scared them off?!"
"Calm down," May growled. "What's going on with you?"
"What's going on with me?" Sanchez hissed. "My powers are gone for twenty four hours, and I will go dark after that, that is what's going on with me!"
"Sit down," May demanded. "And begin from the start."
Sanchez sat down on her bed, and sighed.
"Well... It's a bit complicated. But since your whole life is... Well...Eh... Never mind. I guess you remember my dragon thing?"
"You saved Simmons life by doing that," May responded. "But that isn't what is bothering you, isn't it?"
"Nope. You see... Okay, let me explain it like this. My brother and I, we are able to see what is destend, and what isn't. Sometimes we predict someone his destiny, that kind of stuff. If we don't follow the rules, like trying to change something what's destend to happen... Punishment follows."
"So, you don't have your powers for twenty four hours?" May asked. "You don't use them on the plane because of your cover, I don't see why that's a problem."
"That's exactly the problem, May," Sanchez responded. "I'm used to it. Not using my powers, because of a cover and working for SHIELD. It shouldn't be bothering me. But now... I feel useless."
"Nyla, you aren't useless. I've seen that. Coulson has seen it too. Your wisdom is immense. From every SHIELD agent, you're certainly the one who knows the most about supernatural creatures, and the unknown."
"But I'm supposed to know-"
"We also know that you're a perfect sniper, really good in hand to hand combat, and the last time I heard, you are the only one who can fight with every kind of alien."
Sanchez knew that she wasn't going to win this battle. Every time when she would come up with something, May would come up with something else.
"Mel... I appreciate it that you're trying to cheer me up. Really, I do... But that's not the worst part. Okay, surviving those twenty four hours, I should be able to handle that. I know. But there's more. After our next mission, I go dark."
"Going dark?"
Sanchez grinned painfully. "I don't give a shit anymore about every living being, I will kill people without a good reason, I will wear black all the time, disobey every order that's given to me, to be short; I will act like a arrogant, selfless goddes bitch. And oh yes, before I forget to tell: They didn't like the fact that I had told Simmons sort of about me, so they've locked her memories away. She's just like the others now, believing that it was Ward who saved her."
She sighed again.
"I messed up. Pretty bad."
"You tried to save her life. Your creators just... They did not like it. There's nothing you can do about that," May responded. "And you did. Not. Mess. Up. Don't forget that. Besides... Isn't Coulson still your kill safety?"
"Yes," Sanchez replied. "But I don't know what will happen. There's a chance that they're going to remove it. I don't know. Time will tell us."
May her hand went to her earpiece.
"New coordinates. We're going to the hub."
Sanchez moaned.
"No... Please, say that you're joking. If it couldn't get any more worse."
"Since when are you hating the hub?" May asked.
"Because of that anoying, ugly, teasing, arrogant, selfless bitch Victoria Hand.I swear, since the time I worked with her in this form on-"
"Well, good luck with that," May replied. She left Sanchez her bunk, and Sanchez fell back down on her bed, groaning of displeasure.

"Wow."
Skye looked over the edge of the balcony into the heart of the hub. She was impressed. Just like most of the people who came here for the first time.
"Didn't realize Big Brother was this... big."
They were heading to some place in the Hub. May, Coulson and Ward were being... Their selves, while Sanchez stll looked like she could kill someone every minute.
"Oh, this is nothing. Wait until you see the 'Triskelion," Simmons replied full of enthusiasm. She eemed a bit hyper active.
"Everyone's wearing the same suit. Can someone tell me why?" Sky asked.
"Because we can," Sanchez muttered cranky. She took her name badge from a desk, together with the others.
"Sir, permission to lock myself up in the gym?" She asked to Coulson.
"Granted," he replied. "Make sure you're back on the bus in time."
She nodded something, and left the others through a other hallway.
"Does she-"
"Don't ask." Simmons quitted Skye her sentence. "We heard only stories about agent Sanchez being grumpy, and believe me, you don't want to know."
Skye made a face, and headed over to Coulson.
"Don't I get one?" She asked.
"That's your badge," he responded, pointing at her bracelet.
"What means that you got a long way to go to even make level one."
"Copy that. Does it... Does it also mean no access to any computers here what's o ever? I could run a search on the protected SHIELD file with my parents."
"Skye-"
"But I just... Seems like the place to keep it, right?"
"I'll look into it," Coulson answered. "But right now, we got more pressing matters at hand. Agent Sitwell!"
A bowled man with glasses, and - ofcourse- in a suit came to them.
"Agent Coulson. Good to see you feeling better."
They shook eachothers hands.
"Agent Hand is waiting for you in the situation room."
"She doesn't like to wait."
"So, you know her?" Sitwell asked.
"Only her reputation. After you."
"Your level sevens can join us in the briefing," Sitwell said to Coulson.
"Say cheese."
Sitwell stood for a screen, and after a face scan, the door opened.
"Victoria hand," Simmons said, full of admiring.
"Is here," Fitz continued her sentence.
Skye went to the face scanner, but her bracelet was pulled to the scanner like a magnet.
"Ouch," Fitz said while looking at Simmons.
"Is this your sattle way to say that I can't come with?" Skye asked to Coulson.
"We'll be back," he replied.
"Wo...Eh..."
The door closed.
She looked to Fitz and Simmons, but they started talking about some scientific stuff, and they turned their backs to her.
"I don't think it likes me here," she sighed.
 "Wait, I'll help you."
Sanchez came out of nowhere, took something out of her pocket, and hold it in front of the scanner. Skye didn't know what it was, but it released her bracelet from the wall.
"Thanks."
"Don't thank me," she muttered. "I knew that would happen. It always does."
She turned her back to Skye, and disappeared in the crowd, leaving Skye behind.

"Agent Hand."
"Agent Coulson. Nice to finally put a face to the name."
It was a bit... It was a crowded room, with people everywhere, and a massive screen at the wall.
In the middle of all of this, was a woman with dark hair, and one pink lock of hair.
"Likewise. These are agents May and Ward."
"Well, now we've got a matter of word, here's what you can know. The intel you've covered from agent Shaw, tells us that a seperatists group from South Ossetian has a weapon called "излишним устройство."
"The overkill device?" Ward asked.
"A little dramatic for my taste, I already imagined that something was lost in translation," Hand responded.
"We know that they're going to use the weapon in the next twenty four hours to declare their independence from Russia and Georgia."
A few images of a device appeared on the screen.
"We believe that the sonic vibration is powerful enough to trigger weapons from a great distance. Anything from the weapons on a helicopter, to a nuclear warhead."
"So, if we move on them, they could use our own weapons against us," Coulson said.
"Exactly. That's why I need a two-man team to sneak across the disputed border undetected, break into the separatist stronghold, and disable the weapon in the next 24 hours. And you have two people who fit my bill."
Coulson looked at May and Ward.
" Not a problem," May replied.
"I was in Georgia during the incursion in '08. I still have contacts on the South Ossetian border," Ward answered.
"And you'll have to use them. But we don't have specs on the device, so I need someone on the team who can identify and dismantle it on-site. "
Coulson, May, and Ward looked at eachother, and they all knew about who she was talking.
" Do you mean...?" Ward asked.
" I think she does," Coulson said.
                                                                         *
"I found a localized E.M.P., plus a few other party favors."
Fitz had found some science gadgets somewhere in the Hub, and now, he had a car full of it.
"Oh, come on. What the - Open! It's stuck! The cart's stuck. That's unbelievable."
Skye and Simmons looked at eachother. Sanchez sighed.
The door tried to close, but didn't succeed, because the car with Fitz his gadgets were in the way.
He tried to pull the door open, and managed to push the car through the door.
"What the hell? Who designed this? In the Hub, of all places-"
The door shut right in his face.
"Seriously?" Ward asked.
