"What a day." Both Fitzsimmons were full of excitement. Andromeda had joined their team temporarly, end they would have the SHIELD top on their plane today. And there was also Henry, Fitz' awesome holographic monkey.
"I'm wondering how much Andromeda- I mean agent Smith would know," Fitz said to Simmons. "She must have seen so much. How old would she be?"
While Fitz talked and talked about Andromeda, aka Agent Smith, her name on the plane, Simmons became more... Silent.
Andromeda had said she only made decisions with her mind. Decisions who seemed logical to her, because of science. But she... She hadn't always done that. She had jumped out of the bus to save her friends, for god's sake!
"Arriving at the helicarrier."
Coulson went down in the cargo hold, to get the SHIELD top, leaded by Victoria Hand, while the so called agent "Laura Smith" was upstairs, trying to avoid an interrogation from Skye.
"How old are you exactly? Do you know Thor? Wait of course do you know him, you are an avenger. Do you-"
"If I hear you asking one question again, I swear I'll rip your lungs out with my bare feet," Andromeda growled back. Skye couldn't tell if she was lying or not, so she decided to shut her mouth.
"You better go downstairs. Fitzsimmons want to take some blood from you, again, and you better can't be here when the top comes upstair."
Andromeda would be regretting her behaviour against Skye, and she knew that in a near future, she would tell them everything she wanted to tell them. But now... Not yet. She had other things in her mind, like the upcoming days. She had to work on her plan.

"Apologies for this song and dance," agent Garrett started the briefing. "It's a precaution."
"A precaution against what?" Sitwell asked.
"The clairvoyant," Coulson explained. "If there is someone out there who really can read minds, at least we have to appear as far away from him as possible."
"We'll kick a few bars from his psychic wifi," Garrett grinned.
"Coulson, you know SHIELD stands on psychics, they don't exist," Blake said.
"Are you suddenly a believer?" Hand asked.
"Not defininetely. But I recently had an experience with an Asguardian who could bend peoples will with her voice. Forced me to open my mind. So to speak."
"All we know is that the clairvoyant has been a step ahead from us, dealing plays from our playbook," Garrett continued.
"And it's pissing me off," Coulson added. "I guess you've all read agent Garrett's latest report?"
"A hit on the safe house. Mr. Peterson is alive and kicking."
"We call him deathlock," May said.
"The project's codename."
"Garrett and I have been tracking him the last few weeks," Tripp said.
"And we think the Clairvoyant's super soldier bodyguard came after us for a reason," Garrett told them. "We're getting close."
"To what? His identity?" Hand asked.
Garrett and Coulson looked at eachother.
"We've narrowed the list to thirteen canidates."
"Narrowed it down from what?"
"Agent Garrett has been getting a second look at SHIELD's gifted index. Specifically the rejects."
"Individuals who SHIELD believed they had powers, but were dismissed."
"You think we've encountered the clairvoyant before?" Sitwell asked.
"Think of how many cases we've encountered across the globe," Coulson said. "How many cases we've had. It's more then possible. It's probable."
"I need more coffee," Blake murmled.
"Let's assume what you're saying is possible," Hand said. "What then? If we're going out against an actual clairvoyant, how do you suggest we combat that?"
"By compart metalising the information," Garrett said.
"A member of my team is an expert in recognition and analyses, finding needles in haystacks. She'll priorities the candidates on Garrett's list, locate them, and then pair us off in random teams."
"On that way, only one person knows the full scope of the mission."
"You do understand that this person you're referring to, needs to be a SHIELD agent to be granted that level of access," Hand said.
"I'm glad you brought that up," Coulson replied. Andromeda, who had joined the briefing, but had not said anything at all so far, started to grin.
"I'm going to hug you if you're keeping me for the grand finally," she said to Coulson in his mind. He gave no response, but she already knew the answer.

"Pairing off makes total sense," Skye said. "One thought; what if we make it a double blind?"
"How so?"
"Well, I give one person from each team the cordinates of the potential clairvoyant, and I give the other one the identity. That way, no one person knows the full spects of the op until you get there."
"I like how you think," Garrett grinned. "I like how she thinks."
"One question; How am I supposed to access all the files without someone in the room, I don't have the clearance," Skye asked.
"Now you do."
Coulson took something from his pocket, and gave it to Skye.
"Welcome to SHIELD, Skye."
She looked from the thing in her hands, to Coulson, and she looked to the thing in her hands again. Fitzsimmons also came in, together with May, who grinned.
"I told them to come up."
Skye... She really didn't know what to say.
"I... I dont know what to say," she said. "Thank you."
"Don't thank me," Coulson said. "You've passed every required SHIELD exam with flying colors-"
"For a level one agent."
"You've assisted us on multiple field missions, put your life on the line. You earned this."
"Hell, you took two in the gut," Garrett grinned. "More than Sitwell here's ever done."
"Okay everyone, back to work," Coulson continued.
The top left to the briefing room, while Fitzsimmons surrounded Skye, to congratulate her. When they were gone, only Ward was still left.
"Couldn't have done it with a great, and very patient SO."
"Yeah, you could have. I'm no clairvoyant, but I do believe some things are meant to be."
Ward went downstairs, and Skye looked at her badge again.
"I knew this would happen."
Andromeda, agent Smith, laid on the couch.
"You'll be the most magnificent agent there has ever been."
Skye smiled. "Thank you."
