"I just wanted to give you a quick update. She's still at the hotel, so... And that's the update."
Skye was standing in the door opening of Coulson his office. For a few seconds, she said nothing. But then, she decided to walk in.
"It was a pretty weird day, hm? It was like we were trapped in a van shaped piñata."
"That should never have happened," was Coulson his response.
And he knew that damn well. He had been warned.
"It's okay. Wasn't nearly as terrible as watching mom and dad fighting down stairs," Skye said.
"That shouldn't have happened either," Coulson said.
"You regret coming along?" He asked to Skye.
"It's pretty impulsive, even for me."
She sighed. "I still don't know much about you. Except for your vallue really old stuff."
Both of them looked at Coulson his collection of stuff. It wàs really old stuff.
"And, you vallue me. You're the first person to do that in a really long time. So, I happen to believe you're an excellent judge on character. If you think this woman deserves a second chance, we should give it to her. Even though she tried to kill me, and I kind of hate her guts..."
She closed the door of the office behind her, leaving a slightly smiling Coulson behind.

"Fitz, what happend? Where are May and Sanchez?"
Coulson woke Fitz up, after having entered the lab. Fitz had fallen asleep behind his desk, while working ofcourse. It wasn't something new to him.
"Uh, I don't know... They must have been watching the transmission, Amador must be sleeping..."
"Play it back," Coulson ordered him. Fitz touched some things on his ipad.
They could see on the recordings that Amador had got another message.
"There. She got another message," Coulson said. "Todorof building. Wait. Stop. Can you get closer on that receipt?"
On the recordings, they could see a receipt, laying down on a table.
There was a name on it.
"Dammit," Coulson mumbled in himself.
"Wake the others."

When Akela Amador opened her eyes, she knew immediatley that something wasn't right.
It never was, actually. There was a killing switch in her eye. She could die every minute if she refused to do what 'they' asked from her, or, if she failed her task.
And now... It was far away from her 'normal' not okay. There were people in her room. Two, to be exactly.
She came right from her bed, and saw two women. One of them had still something from a young girl.
One was chinese, and the other one seemed a bit... Spanish, maybe. But she wasn't sure of that.
She swallowed. If she had seen them... 'they' would have seen them too.
"Who ever is monitoring you, do they have audio?" The chinese one asked.
"No. But they will use facial recognition to determ that you're a SHIELD agent."
"So I don't have to introduce myself," the chinese answered.
"But I will need to," The spanish one said. "They won't find my face in their systems. I have many faces, and they're never the same. I've served SHIELD as long as I can remember, and I've seen more then most of the humans in the world."
She turned her head a bit.
"Do you know who I am, Akela?"
"Yes," She answered. " I know who you are. Did Coulson send the two of you?"
"No," the chinese one said. "He feels sorry for you. Just like the brother of my collegue."
"Yes," the other one said. "Do you know who he is, Akela?"
She swallowed.
"Yes. I do."
"That's good," the spanish one grinned. "Very good."
"But I don't feel sorry for you," the chinese one said. "I'll bring you into SHIELD, you get a fair trial, and no one else gets hurt."
"Wrong answer, sweetie," the spanish one muttered.
"You have no idea, do you?" she asked to the chinese one.
"We know that you receive orders."
"Then you know that once they see you,  we can't all get out of here. They build a afail safe."
No one said something. The spanish one sighed.
"That means that we have two options. Or, she kills the both of us, or they kill her. It's as simple as that."
"That is not sounding simple," grumbled the chinse one. The Spanish one started smiling.
"It does for me."
"You should have stayed in bed," the Chinese one said.
Akela took a gun, but the Chinese one kicked it out of her hands. But then, the light went out, and everything went black.

"Hello Akeela."
Slowly, she was waking up. They had transformed the interrogation room into a more 'normal' room, with a bed and a chair. Coulson was sitting to the wall, together with Sanchez.
"You're safe now," Sanchez said.
"There's a kill switch in my eye. Why hasn't my handler blown it yet?"
"For as far as I know, there is just one person who will kill. My brother," Sanchez told her.
"And for so far as your handler knows, you fought agent Sanchez and Agent May, you all went down, and after that you got up, and left the building to complete your mission," Coulson said to her.
"But... How?"
"We highjacked your feed. One of our agents is wearing a set of glasses, mimicking your implant. Right now, it's transmitting his point of view like it is one of yours."
"I get messages of my handler-"
"We're receiving those as well. My agent is on his way to the tonarof building, completing your mission while we disable the kill safe in your eye."
Amador sighed from relief.
"I promise. They can't see you."
"I will let the two of you alone," Sanchez said without moving her lips. Amador did not seemed very surprised.
"I will come back later."
She left the room.
"Akela... Are you all right?" Coulson asked. "Look at me."
She looked at him, but it didn't went easy.
"How long have they been monitoring you?"
"Years. Why are you doing this, Coulson?"
" I need to know why a prox cars were worth thirty million-"
"No. Why are you doing this? Why are you helping me? Where's the "I told you so"?"
"That's not me anymore," he said to her. "I'm just glad that you're alive."
There was a silence for a while.
"Van chat would never have cought us if I just had done my job. I should have listen to you," Amador said. "Trusting my team, the way you insisted. If I had... They might still be alive."

Sanchez was back in the room, together with Borguez. Coulson gave Amador a bottle of water.
"How did you manage to escape?"
"I didn't. Get cought in a cross fire. Went down. Woke up in some half triage bay, blind on this eye," she told them, pointing to her right eye. "Spend the next four years alone, in a cage, at the bottom of a copper mine."
"We looked for you. Heard roumers you had been taken to shank-shee provence."
"When the team finally came, I thought it was SHIELD at first, but-"
"Who where they?" Sanchez asked.
"I don't know. Even to this day. But they were organised. They took me to a clinic, I had multiple surgeries, and one day I could see from both eyes again. I was so gratefull. Untill I realised what they done."
"Somebody was watching," Borguez said.
"My every move. I had no idea until I saw the first message. Then, the assignment started. Mostly, it was 'steal this, follow him, get into there.' I just tried to ignore them. But when I did, I got this pain... Like an electric mygrain."
"The fail safe," Coulson muttered.
"It's how you're putting it... And now, when I'm thinking about my years in a cage... I miss it. I wish I could go back. Being alone. Sleeping in peace."
Sanchez smiled to her.
"We will make sure that you can sleep in peace again. I promise."
