"NO!" mariing sigaw ni Lovely na kanina pa nakikipagmatigasan ng ulo sa mga pulis. "Thi son! It's Christian!" pagpipilitang nitong dagdag.
"What exactly are you on about, Lovely? We have custody of that child! Why do you keep claiming it's his and not mine?" galit at naguguluhang tanong ni Sadam na unti-unti ng nauubusan ng pasensya.
"No! He isn't your son!" mariing itinatanggi ni Lovely na anak ni Sadam ang batang sinasabi niyang anak ni Christian.
"If you continue to insist that it wasn't my child, then you leave me no choice. Let's do the paternity test!" panghahamong wika ni Sadam.
"We've already done that, and it says Christian was my son's biological father!"
"That is simply not possible! That cannot have happened!" hindi makapaniwalang tutol ni Sadam na may kasamang panlulumo.
"Sadam, please put a stop to it! Don't overcomplicate everything! Allow us to live in silence."
"Please excuse me, Ma'am, but we aren't the ones who are complicating matters here," awat ng isang pulis.
Napatingin nang matalim at may pagtataas ng kilay si Lovely sa pulis. "What exactly does that take into account?" mataray niyang tanong.
"Why don't we run another DNA test to see how this case turns out? Then, depending on the outcome, you can file a case and take it to court."
"Why should another test be performed if one has already been completed?" almang tanong ni Lovely. "It has already been supported-"
Hindi na nagawang matapos ni Lovely ang kanyang sabihin nang magsalita si Rachel.
"Lovely, why don't you just agree? You appear to be concerned that something bad may have occurred," sabal ni Rachel.
"Rachel! Be careful what you say! You may confuse them!" singhal na sita ng kanyang ama.
"I'm not mixing them up; it's Lovely. If she doesn't hide anything, simply agree to another test so that this problem is resolved and no one is bothered," wika ni Rachel. "Do you agree with me, Dad?" Sabay nginitian ang kanyang ama.
Tinignan ng ama si Rachel na patuloy pa ring nakangiti. Napabuntong-hininga si Haring Hamza. "Yes, you are," pagsasang-ayong saad nito.
"I always am," nakangiting saad ni Rachel.
"Dad!" almadong sigaw ni Lovely namabilis ibinaling ang kanyang tingin sa ama na kitang-kita ang labis na pagtutol sa kanyang mukha.
"Lovely, just let them do their thing. If Christian is the biological father of my grandson, no matter how many tests are performed, the outcome will always be the same," mahinahong saad ng ama sabay haplos ng ulo ni Lovely. "As a result, you shouldn't be worried."
"But, Dad..."
"Don't be afraid, my princess." Sabay yakap kay Lovely para pakalmahin ito.
"Then everything is set. Let us summon a doctor to collect the specimen-"

Wala namang paligoy-ligoy na kumuha ng gamit si Rachel para kumuha ng mga specimen mula kay Sadam, sa baby ni Lovely na si Lucian at panghuli ay si Christian. Habang abala siya sa pagkuha ng swab kit ay pasimpleng nagsalita si Rachel.
"This will end soon," wika ng doktora sabay tingin kay Christian.
"Thank you, Rachel," pasasalamat ni Christian ngunit imbes na matuwa ang dalaga ay naagaw ng kanyang pansin ang mga sugat nito sa mukha.
