"...I never had any intention to deny it in the first place."

Your voice was meek, looking away timidly. You laughed sheepishly. "Ah, this is really sappy and shit. I can't take it."

You waved the subject away, not really in favor of being sentimental for tonight.

Only now had the two of you notice the lights at a distance. A streetlight, as well as the bright lights from various shops.

It seems you two had made it to town.

"..."

The faint chatter from various demons on a similar stroll was heard. The atmosphere became lively. Not that it wasn't before between the two of you, but rather, in a different way.

The indiscernible noise reminded you two that you weren't alone anymore.

Who knew if that was a bad thing or not.

"..."

As the two of you walked, you couldn't help but feel unsettled the moment you two made it to town.

...Was it the feeling of being watched from afar?

Or were you just being delusional about it?

There weren't that many demons out and about, especially since it wasn't an ideal time, and because there would be school tomorrow for RAD students.

Only when your ears picked up on a quick click of a camera, did you halt in your tracks. This prompted Mammon to do the same as he stared at you in confusion.

It seems he didn't hear any of it.

"...Hey, Mammon."

"Hm?"

"...Do you hear that?"

"Hear what?" Mammon looked around, not finding anything. You pressed your lips together in a thin line before speaking.

"Camera."

"Camera?" He repeated in a confused manner. You heaved a sigh. "That's a no then."

"What're ya talking about?" Mammon gazed at you in confusion.

"...Do you feel like we're being watched right now then?" You suddenly questioned ominously.

At your stern tone, Mammon couldn't help but grow nervous.

He didn't want this stroll to become something straight out of a horror film...!
