"Oh my gosh" I gasp when Ares takes his hands away from my eyes, it's so freaking pretty. I'm dead, catch me.
"Do you like it?" he asks and I feel his arms snake around my waist. It's a picnic sheet on the pretty grass, the warm winds of august travelling through the air, but the best part. The pond right in front of the picnic, it's filled with water lillies. The forest behind us, so much nature.
I grin nodding as he rests his head in the crook of my neck, "It's so pretty" I whisper. He better be looking at me right now and be like 'it is'. I want my cringe cheesy moment.
But when I look over my shoulder I roll my eyes when he's just smiling at me, but before I could talk he does.
"Sit down" he demands and I mutter the words 'so demanding' before sitting on the pink and white chequered sheet.
He opens the basket thing that was there and starts taking out food, I just look at him and smile. Gosh, if the dumb ring came in earlier I would have gotten down on one knee right here right now. But the ring I custom made for him co-arrives in 2 weeks.
It's really pretty.
"I didn't bring ice cream because it would melt" he mutters placing a box with chocolate covered strawberries in front of me, cherry blossom flowers on top and I almost freaking squeal. I love these!
I look at all the food he made, I guess this is why he kicked everyone out of the kitchen in the morning today...Cutie. "Ares" I call when he starts setting everything up.
He hums and looks up, "I love you" I whisper lightly. Not missing how a smile reaches his lips so fucking fast as he looks at me with the most adoration in the world. "I love you more"
