We've all been working around the clock pulling the recordings together. Now that the preliminary work has been completed, we booked time into BTS's normal studio space on the main floor, and I worked with their team to record the remainder of the members before the tracks were sent over to me to work on the final mixing.

It has been such a great experience. Everyone has recorded their parts, and I can't get over how good they sound. The only difficult part has been the definite shift in Yoongi's demeanor. We are one hundred percent business now. Which is fine, the way I have been interacting personally with all the guys is highly unusual. I know Yoongi is just being professional, but I can't help but still feel foolish and let down.

I'm walking down the hallway, getting a bit of exercise to help build my knee strength, and taking a short break to clear my head when I run into Jimin.

"What are you up to?"

"Not much, Jimin. I just needed a break. My brain feels a bit broken today, and I'm just trying to get a clear head."

He gives me a sweet smile, but I'm embarrassed that it may be rooted in pity. Jimin quietly catches everything that is happening in a room. When the attention isn't on him, he is always observant, and he can read people's body language very well. In fact, I think he's the only person that noticed Yoongi, and I have had a shift in our relationship. I also know that he can tell I've been sad because he's gotten in the habit of giving my arm little squeezes when he thinks I need them, and I'm touched he would do that for me.

"Come, come to our practice," he says, guiding my arm, turning me in the direction of their dance practice space. "I just stepped out to use the restroom. Come back with me!"

"Oh no, I don't think management would like that..."

"Yes, come," he smiles, and it is so sweet that I just follow even though my gut is telling me to run.

The room is overrun by staff and different people buzzing around, and quite frankly, nobody blinks an eye at me. They recognize me, but I'm just another person in the room. Jimin crosses the room, and I see him lean in and whisper something into Hobi's ear. They both turn and look at me, and Hobi waves a sweet hello, and I'm happy seeing his friendly face.

One of the songs they are putting on the album did not make the final cut for a previous comeback, but it happened to be the right fit now. They've already been working on the choreography, and I have to admit that I'm excited to see how it's coming together.

The members get into position, and the music begins to play. The song is powerful and electrifies the room as they jump into action, and I see these men that I've been working with for weeks turn into entirely different people. I am awe-struck that I'm seeing them change into their idol personas, and it's extraordinary to witness. In fact, it takes my breath away, and there are a lot of feelings for me to unpack in a short few moments.
