Yoongi wasn't lying when he said he would cook; he served me a delicious meal and then took a turn in the shower while I stripped the beds of their sheets and put together a pile for the laundry.

I'm on the couch drinking a hot cup of tea, gazing out the window at the sunlight dancing across the icy snow when Yoongi materializes from the bathroom. His black hair is wet, and he looks handsome, dressed in a pair of loose-fitting slacks and a sweater. I smile, thinking about how much I'd like to touch the small silver hoop earrings adorning his ears.

"Do I smell coffee?" his nostrils flare slightly as he takes in the scent.

"I made a small pot of decaf for you, just in case you wanted some."

"Thanks, Darling," he places a kiss on the top of my head as he passes by me on his way to the kitchen and returns with a mug in hand, sitting on the opposite side of the couch.

I turn to face him as I sip my tea and smile, looking him over.

Boyfriend material. Husband material, even..... Oh, Lord! One night and I'm already whipped for him. Geesh!

"Hoseok spoke to Namjoon and me about your visa situation, and I've been thinking a lot about it all week. Darling, we are leaving for our trip to America soon. Why don't you just come with us? I mean, it would be a little hard for you, but Jae has decided to join Jungkook for the trip, you can definitely come too. Yes, it means you'd have to be stuck in hotels most of the time and keep a low profile, but we just started something good; I would love to have you travel with me."

I'd be lying if I didn't say I hadn't already considered this option when Jae called earlier in the week to share her plans to travel with JK, but I'm surprised that Yoongi wants me to come along as well and it makes me blush all over.

"I'd love to, Yoongi, but..."

"There is a 'but' though," he replies, his smile fading away as he tilts his head to listen further.

"It's just that Jae is Korean, you can just stuff an iced Americano or a hairbrush in her hand, and everyone will think she is part of the staff," I joke half-heartedly. "She will just blend in with all the other gorgeous women that work at the company, but me? I will stick out in your entourage like a sore thumb, and ARMY will recognize me from the selcas that Hobi has shared. They are so attentive to you all and sharp as tacks; nothing gets by them! I'm already too far on the radar." He frowns, recognizing that I'm entirely in the right as he sips his coffee thoughtfully.

"Also, I adore you, Yoongi, I think about you every minute of the day, but I have to have my own life and my own career. I can't just follow you around the world for the rest of my life. I need to be able to make my music, or my soul will waste away. It's not that you aren't 'enough'; it's just that I will turn into somebody else, and I won't be happy or the person you were drawn to. My music is a major part of my identity and my biggest passion...." I feel a tear slide down my cheek, and my voice cracks ever so slightly as I wonder how I will ever revive my career after all that has occurred.
