45-Secrets and Seduction

"Yes she's pregnant" The Doctor repeated

Axel smiled widely and laughed filled with nervousness yet happiness.

"Well, C-Can I see her?" Axel asked

"Yes but that's not all," The doctor said

"What is it?!" Axel asked

"She's nine weeks pregnant-"

"Is that all you wanted to tell me?" Axel asked

"Well no-"

"What room is she in?! I need to see her!" Axel said

"No Mr.Santiago. She's gonna have to stay here for further evaluations especially to make sure if the baby will be healthy enough to continue to grow."

"Thank you doc. We'll discuss further when she's present" Axel said

"Alright then. I'll take you to her room" The doctor said

Axel followed the doctor to Alora's room. Nervous and overwhelmed Axel exhaled lowly.

"Here she is," The doctor said stopping by an open room

Axel turned to look into the room; feeling frozen in space his eyes rested on her. Every visible bruise and the huge white bandaid that was wrapped around her head. Her braids laid loosely against the white puffed pillow she rested beneath.

"T-thanks," Axel said with a low heavy breath

He walked into the room and rested his hand on her stomach. Alora didn't have a baby bump just yet but knowing she was pregnant left a sinking feeling within his soul. He'd have to protect three people now; Devine, Alora and the unborn baby.

"I'll protect you with my life" Axel whispered

"Hey son," Manuel said resting a hand on Axel's shoulder

Axel jumped lightly as he was pulled away from his thoughts.

"Everything will be fine," Manuel said

"I hope so," Axel said staring at sleeping Alora

Meanwhile...The Bathroom

Bruna and Celine laid on the floor naked and sweaty. The air felt humid and the room was filled with light huffing and puffing.

"We should start heading back," Bruna said

"Uh yeah...you're right," Celine said

Bruna got up and helped Celine up as well. They both looked at one another awkwardly.

"Hope this isn't uncomfortable for you," Celine said

"No, it's fine," Bruna said as she fixed her shirt back on

"Let me help you," Celine said fixing Bruna's clothes

"So how long will you be around?" Celine asked

"I guess until Axel decides to return to New York," Bruna said before nibbling on her lower lip

She could still taste the bittersweetness of Celine. Guilty yet feeling flushed; she wasn't sure if Axel would be too happy about this. Celine was very powerful after all and the cousin of Axel. She barely knew much about the woman she just hooked up with.

"Did we just–" Bruna said

"In the washroom? Yes" Celine said

Celine put back on her clothes while Bruna was busy fixing her hair.

"Next time it'll be done in a much more comfortable space" Celine whispered before pecking Bruna on the cheek

Bruna watched as Celine left, her cheeks felt warm.

"What have I gotten myself into?" Bruna whispered to herself

Celine walked back to the waiting room, The Gravano's were still seated and so was Axel's mother Mara.

"Sorry that took a while," Celine said

Mara looked up at Celine.

"What happened to your neck?" Mara asked

Celine's eyes widened and she covered her neck with her hand quickly.

"She was being very vicious in there. Celine had a very bad breakdown and hit her neck against the sink that's why we took a while" Bruna said cutting in

"Celine, we're here for you okay?" Mara said softly

Celine nodded

Bruna knew exactly what happened in the bathroom and she couldn't stop thinking about it.

"Bruna?" Mara said

"Oh yes?" Bruna responded

"Why don't you bring Celine home? She had a very rough day. I think what she needs right now is rest." Mara said

"Sure come on Celine," Bruna said

Celine followed behind, they got into the car and drove off.

"I don't need rest," Celine said

Bruna smirked

"I know"

Bruna's eyes were on the road as she drove away from the hospital and onto the streets of France.

"I need a reminder of what happened in that bathroom earlier," Celine said as she pulled out a cigarette from her pocket

Bruna glanced over at Celine.

"I'll take you to the waterfalls," Bruna said

"My favourite place," Celine said

"Mine as well"
