#Flashback 1 - Confession pt.2
Scarlett's POV:
She became silent for a minute, making me more nervous than i already am.
"Please, say something." I pleaded timidly, and it's like something snap in her mind, she blink multiple times.
"I-i....uhm-" She stammered, trying to find the right words, but she can't.
"Don't worry, im not asking you to like or love me back, or anything. I just i wanted yo let it all out because now, after the two years of our friendship, i finally see a chance to tell you, but i guess it's not the right time...." I explained quickly holding her hand as i trailed of in my last sentence.
I'm looking at her straight in the eyes, hoping that she can see the love, passion and adoration in my eyes, screaming for her to notice how deep my love is for her.
"I-...I mean, i-i can't say that i didn't felt something...for you. But, i just- i just can't right now, Scarlett. I just got out of marriage, and im trying to pick myself up together, i don't want to be a burden to you. You already have your own problems, you know, and i don't want to add more-", She rambled but i cut her off by squeezing her arms and saying,
"Y/n, you will never be a burden to me, i care a lot about you, more than our circumstances allow me to. And trust me, i will help you, i will be there in every step of the way. And i know, i know that you just got out of a relationship, but im willing to wait, and i promise to you with all i am, that you will never gonna feel something like this again. I will do everything and anything to make you trust me with you heart, i don't care how long it will take you, because i will wait until you will accept my love for you, i will climb the highest peak of you history, and i will love you and care for you just like how you deserve, more than you deserve.
I hope this won't be a reason for us to break our friendship, because if you don't want, just say it, it's completely fine, we're still friends and we're still part of each other's life. But, if you would want us to be more something, and if you need time and all, i am more than willing to give it to you, and wait for you, Y/n. Just remember, no matter what happens, i will be here, i will always stay by your side. No matter what happens." I said, we are now both have tears flowing out of my eyes. I put my other hand in her cheeks to wipe it as i look at her with all the passion and love i have got for her.
"Thank you so much, Scarlett..." She started after a few minutes of silence.
"I don't- i can't find the right words to express how im feeling right now and all, but....i-i i would like- love to give us a try, i just need some more time. Promise me, whatever happens to us, whatever the future might lead us, even if we break up or something, we will still stay as friends. Cause i can't bear losing someone like you Scarlett." She said and i nodded, pulling her in my embrace.
"I promise, love. I promise with all my heart. And once we try us, don't think about us, breaking apart, because i will never let you go, i will never ever gonna be an idiot like your exes." I said as i chuckled at the end as we pull away.
"I love you." I said, looking at her and she smiled while wiping my tears.
I look at her in the eyes, as if im telling her how much i love her and from that moment, my love just grew more than it already is. I will do everything and anything just to prove myself to her.
