The sound of the door opening got Lizzie's head shot up, sighing in relief as soon as she saw the doctors and the nurse packing up inside of Y/n's room, standing up, and walking quickly towards the doctor, who greeted her and asked her if ever she's related to the person inside.

"Yes, i am, im her friend. How is she?" Lizzie ask anxiously as she continues to gaze inside the room, where Y/n is being cleaned up.

"I am very happy to say that she's doing well, the process had been very hard, she lost so many blood, and her ribcage has several cracks that is need to be tend seriously. She's very lucky to survive that kind of crash, we were actually loosing hope in the middle of the operation because she...well, she almost went flatline, but in all that, we survived, she survived. She's being cleared up right now, and then she will be turn in to the another room." The doctor explained, with a small reassuring smile plastered on his face, as he nod along with every word he said.

"When will she wake up, doc? Will she be alright? Is there anything else?" A raspy voice from behind Elizabeth cut in, making the doctor look at her.

"Well, we expect a good recovery in her situation at the moment. But, we need to put her in a comatose state because her brain is still swelling from the impact, and we can't take the risk of her, getting stress up and all. In short, we just need to rest her system for the meantime, until we're sure enough that there will be no problem anymore. Her cuts and bruises, is thankfully, not that too deep, but it is still needed to be check up on. Apart from her swelling brain, she can't be moving anytime soon because of her broken ribcage, but don't worry, we did everything we could, the very best thing we could, that's why we expect a better recovery for Mrs. Johansson. Everything will be in this paper, just ask for my name if you need anything. Any question?" The doctor continued professionally, and both of the woman nodded with a thankful smile, well, mostly Lizzie, as Scarlett started tearing up silently at the explanation of what her wife had been on.

"Thank you very much, that's all we need to know." Lizzie said gratefully.

"Very well, I'll leave you to it, she will be transferred in room B4A, it's a private room, which Mrs. Johansson over there requested, am i right?" The doctor said, looking over at Scarlett, who quickly nodded, and wiped her tears.

"Y-yes, thank you." Scarlett said shakily, and the doctor nodded with a small smile one last time before walking away.

"God..." Scarlett breathed, pulling her hair with her large hands, just then, Lizzie turn to look at her.

"You should go to her. I'm gonna leave for now, her parents are requesting for me to get them....is that okay to you?" Elizabeth asked quietly, making Scarlett nod in reassurance.

"Okay, im gonna go now, bye." With that, she walked away, leaving Scarlett by herself.

Deep breaths, while composing herself, she started to take small steps forward, making her move on walking straight to the mirror see through glass, watching as the nurses and doctors cleans up everything, and her wife.

She just couldn't wait to touch and feel Y/n's skin against her, all she just want is to take her in her arms, hold her tight as if it's the last time, she wants to hold her tight and take it all in of being her wife until it last.

After some time, it's all clear, and Scarlett was told that it's now good to go inside the room where Y/n is transferred.

"I'm sorry...." With her voice breaking, she carefully took her wife's hand ever so gently, as if Y/n is the most fragile thing in the word, before putting a light kisses on it.

Gashes and wound here and there all over her wife's body, with a big thick gauze that is wrapped around her wife's head, wires are attached to her, and a tube going inside of her mouth, helping her to breath. She looks very lifeless, so fragile that even with the lightest touch, you would be afraid that it would break her. That alone breaks Scarlett's heart even more.
