"Jake?" I say while looking up at him. The drunk man passes out so Jake places him on a nearby bench.
"Yea, are you okay Hyejin?" He says looking at my whole body in concern.
"I'm fine but thank you so much." I say looking at him with a smile. I look at my phone and it is 8:00pm already.
"So sorry but I have to go my mom is having like guests over!" I say.
"Weird. I'm going to someone's house right now for my parent's work..." Jake mumbles to himself.

"SORRY MOM I TOOK LONG RIGHT?" I ask while quickly bringing the groceries in. She quickly grabs then and starts cooking. She tells me to go put something more formal on so I pout and look at my closet. Literally nothing to wearrrrr!

I quickly put this dress on and think about why I'm even wearing this. I walk out to see the table set with tons of food.
"Hyejin! You look great! But go put on a pearl necklace!" She says while pushing me to my room.
Ugh. I try to clip on the necklace but it's not working. I'm literally gonna jump of a bridge. I hear the door creak and I turn around to see a tall man in a suit. Jake????
"Oh my gosh!! Hell- Jake?" I say in confusion. He starts walking closer and closer to me until he is inches away.
"Hyejin turn around." He says looking seriously. I turn around and I feel him putting my necklace on. I feel fireworks go around in my stomach. I can feel his hot breath on the back of my neck. I hear the necklace click but I don't want this moment to turn into a memory.
"Hyejin. You look gorgeous."
I turn around and look at his puppy eyes. He looks back and leans into my face. What is happening? I step back a step until I am leaning against my vanity.
"I wanna kiss you so bad right now." He says while looking at my lips. huh?
He leans in and I don't stop him. Come on body move! He's a friend. right?
He gives me a short peck on my lips and realizes what he did. He looks at me in clear terror and shock and closes his eyes for a second.
"I'm so sorry Hyejin I- was that your first kiss?" He asks out of no where. And yes. It was.
"Maybe." I say looking down at my shoes. He facepalms his forehead and looks at me in a apologetic way.
"Sorry. I don't know what came over me!" He says while patting my shoulder.
"It's fine but what the heck are you doing in my home?" I say looking at his suit.
"My parents brought me. I didn't know this was your house. What a small world!" He says.

"Hyeji- oh? Jake? I think it was? well come eat!" My mom says walking into me and Jake standing closely together.
"Okay m-mom!" I say stuttering and walking out. I signal Jake to follow me and he does.

"So Hyejin! You are a gorgeous girl!" Jake's mom says at the dinner table.
"Thank you! You are a beautiful person as well!" I say giving back a compliment. My mom and Jake's mom start talking and I fall deep in my thoughts.
Why would he kiss me? Is he a player? no, no he wouldn't?
"Hyejin? Hyejin!" My mom yells and a bowl of soup falls onto my dress.
I shout for a second and stand up and wipe my dress.
"Hyejin! Are you okay? Let me help!" Jake yelps and starts wiping my dress with a napkin. He wipes the soup of my thigh and realizes what he is doing in front of his mom.
"Jake! Are you and Hyejin close?" His mom asks with my mom laughing and ooo'ing.
"Mom! She's my friend! Knock it off!" He says while looking at me.
"I'm gonna go change!" I say while walking away from the table.

I get changed into a different dress which is quite old so it fits very tightly. I hear the doorbell ring and my mom tells me to go get it. Ugh who could it be?
I open the door to see Ni-ki wearing a grey hoodie and black sweats.
"Ni-ki? What are you doing here?" I say with confusion in my eyes.
"Never mind." He says while walking away. I quickly grab his wrist and ask "Why are you here just tell me!" I slightly shout cause this kid is so annoying.
"fine! I saw you earlier with that drunk guy and I wanted to know if you died or not! Okay? Now fucking get lost!" He says while looking straight at me.
"Thanks I guess? Also this is my house? So you-"
"Hyejin. You- Ni-ki?" Jake says calling out to me and grabbing my wrist.
"Hyejin. What's Ni-ki here for?" Jake says while wrapping his arm around me looking all confident.
Ni-ki steps closer to Jake and they glare at each other. Oml.
"stop it you annoying brats. Ni-ki go home and Jake come inside." I say pulling them apart from each other.
"I don't even like you anyway." Ni-ki says, having the last word before walking away.

Jake pulls me aside and asks bluntly " Why was he here? Why does he even know where you live? Are you friends?"
"Uh we are definitely not friends. Why would you even think I'm his friend, and he lives like right over there so yea. Also why are you so worried?" I say taking a deep breath after.
"Because your my good friend and I don't want you to get involved with that asshole." He says before heading back inside.
"Wow I am not late to school today! Let's goooo!" I say before walking to the school gate. Jukyung sends 50+ texts to me so I finally open my phone and start texting back. She complains about how her mom is making her go to an academy and stuff. I text back while walking around the school. My eyes are glued to my phone so I don't notice where I am walking to.
"Yah! What do you mean you "forgot to do my homework". Yah! What would a fucking nerd like you have to do other then study?? Huh!??!?" I hear from right in front of me.
Fuck It's those "school bullies." Ugh who do they think the are? Should I help that guy? Ugh fuck it.
