Heartless Sweetheart

So sick of me.

"Hyejin!! I was scared for a second!!" Jake screams at my while holding his hand over his chest. 

I giggle at him and pick the wallet up. I give back Jake his jacket and he hesitantly takes it. I smile and continue walking. 

"You guys deserve it for what you had me go through." I say while walking away. 

I almost forget about Niki for a second until he grabs my wrist once again.

"Hyejin please. Just give me 5 minutes to talk." Niki pleads. 

I give him my best poker face and say "I don't want to fucking talk. How many times do I have to say this?".

"Just go home Niki. I don't want to see you anymore." I say ending the conversation. 

"Hyejin." Niki says while trying to grab my hand. 

"Niki! Were you waiting for me??" I hear Hikaru scream from afar. I roll my eyes and cross my arms as a 'I knew it' kind of way. 

"No I wasn't." Niki says coldly. 

"Princess. Should we go now?" Jake interrupts my thoughts. 

"Sure." I say in a cocky way. We walk off hand in hand.

Hikaru's POV:

Earlier this day:

I stroll around the neighborhood for some fresh air. I get bored of walking by myself so I open my phone to help with the boredom. 

I scroll through Niki's Instagram and see so many adorable pictures of him. 

Wait. What is this?

I notice one popular post called 'our day 1'.

Wtf. Who is that? Is Niki dating someone?

I get too curious for my own good so I walk to his house quickly while my hands formed into fists. 

I spot him in front of his door so I smile happily until I noticed a certain someone next to him. 

I hear him plead in a sorrow way "Hyejin". Fucking Hyejin again? Who does she think she is? 

Out of pure rage I say "Niki babe!" while walking to him. I notice Hyejin's face full of disappointment and regret. 

Perfect. 

Niki and Hyejin have some small talk and she walks away with her eyes full of tears. What a loser. 

"Hikaru what is wrong with you!!?" Niki screams at me once Hyejin or whatever leaves. 

"Nothing. What is up with you and that ugly ass girl?" I say while raising my eyebrows. 

He blankly stares at me for a second making my heart flutter. 

"Hikaru you've changed. And me and that gorgeous girl have a complicated relationship. I don't feel the need to talk to you about it." He says coldly. 

I scoff and say "No I haven't. You have. What happened to short little Niki who wanted to marry me when we grew up?"   

"Grow up Hikaru. I was 5 when I said that. Now I'm thinking of marrying someone else..." Niki starts trailing off at the of his sentence. 

My heart breaks into a million pieces. W-What did he just say?

I weep into my pillow all day making my eyes puffy. 

"I WAS WITH HIM ALL OF HIS CHILDHOOD AND THIS IS HOW HE TREATS ME? WAAAAA" I cry out.
