"Damn homeboy has got game." Heeseung says awkwardly making everyone cringe. 

Please let this moment just move on.. It's so awkward it's hurting me!

At that moment a miracle happens and the doorbell starts ringing. I smile brightly and run towards the door to escape this weird scene. Niki is always causing trouble huh!?!?

I open the door to see Sunghoon and Jake waiting at the door with a big grin. 

"Hi! Thank goodness your here!" I say while holding my chest in exaggeration. 

"What happened?" Jake says while Sunghoon says "you good?"

"You don't even want to know, Niki is being so cocky with Jihyeok and Heeseung." I say while Jake's expression turns gloomy. 

"Okay well come in." I say while opening the door wider for these bozos to come in. They walk in and notice the vibe between Jihyeok and Niki. 

"Heeseung can you take Jihyeok away? Anywhere else but here." I say while walking towards them. 

"Sure princess." Heeseung says jokingly while winking. Jihyeok and Heeseung walk towards the front door to leave.

"Stop flirting with Hyejin!!!" Niki screams before they walk out the door. I shut my eyes in embarrassment and breath out deeply. 

Everyone comes into my house one by one while I start the cupcakes. Jake opens the door each time like a gentlemen and he says "Welcome to Hyejin's house!!' every time in a cheery voice. 

"one two... seven. perfect everyone's here. Okay." I say while mixing the bowl of cupcake mix. 

"I can do it." Niki says while taking the whisk out of my hands and stirring. 

"Ekkkk!! My boat is sailing!! Hyeki? Jinki? What will your ship name be?" Sunoo says while clapping his hands. Everyone turns to Sunoo and awkwardly stare and me and Jake. WHAT NOW??

"Damn. I was rooting for Jake and Hyejin..." Jukyung says. 

"Exactly why you have to pay up!! 20$!!" Sunoo says happily. Jukyung sticks her tongue at Sunoo. 

"Did you place bets on who I was going to date?!??! What the fuck??" I say cringing at them. 

 "Come onnn that's not the point! A ton of us are losing money to Sunoo and Jungwon!! How did you even know!?!?!" Sunghoon says while pouting. What??!?! Is happening?! They placed bets on my relationship?? Kinda funny but still!!

"I knew it since the first time Niki and Hyejin joined this school!" Jungwon says while smiling and showing his dimples.

"Yea! Like a enemies to lovers story!! I caught Niki staring at you all the time at lunchtime and in class with you! And now he even asked me t-" Before Sunoo can finish Niki puts his hand over his mouth and Jay punches him on the shoulder. 

"That's enough now Sunoo." Niki says while glaring at him. 

"Uhm wow. How was I so oblivious of this bet?! Anyway the cupcakes. Right. Okay I've got a plan. Niki, Jake, and Sunoo can stay and help me finish them. And the rest of you can go and play with my oculus and ps5 while your waiting. Okay! Chop chop!" I say while sending the other off to the game area. 

"Alright let's get started!" I say happily. We put the cupcakes in the oven, carefully labeling which ones are vegan and gluten free. 

Jake makes the frosting and they surprisingly come out amazing. I admire the others while they happily laugh and smile while playing.
