I had just returned after talking with Asmoday.
After I finally calmed down, I couldn't help but smile.
HE LIKED ME TOO!
I was humming and doing some paperwork, when a herald contacted me.
"Princess. We have a.... problem" he said.
"What happened now?" I asked.
I hope my good mood doesn't get ruined so soon.
"Umm... It's about Skirk. She's returned" the herald said.
"Oh. Ok.... And how exactly is that a problem?" I asked.
"She wants to fight his highness to see if he's worthy of joining the abyss" he said with a sigh.
"Alright. I'm coming there" I said as I closed the paperwork and opened a portal.
As soon as I crossed it, I heard a familiar and energetic voice.
"LUMINE! WHERE IS THE NEW GUY!?" Skirk shouted.
"Calm down Skirk. He's not here right now" I said.
"Did he run away after he heard that I was coming?" she asked while laughing.
Listen here you little shit.
"No he did not. He has some work to do in Inazuma and should return in a few days" I said.
"Aww. I wanted to fight him :(" Skirk said.
"There, there. You can fight him when he returns" I said as I patted her head.
"Hey Lumine?" she asked.
"Hmm?"
"Why do the Heralds and mages call him his highness?" Skirk asked.
I tripped.
"Lumine. Don't tell me...." she said with a OwO face.
"I-It's not like that!" I shouted.
"I'm hurt Lumine. I thought there was something between us" she said while acting like she was hurt.
"Shut the fuck up Skirk" I said while blushing.
Yes I had a crush on her, but that was over 200 years ago, and now she won't let it go!
"There, there. You can tell me about him after we get to your office" she said as she patted my head.
You dare you my own spells against me, Skirk!?
We left and I barely heard who Lectors and Heralds talking.
"Did you notice? The princess didn't deny it this time" the herald said.
"Yeah. I heard that she finally confessed and his highness told her that he liked her too" the Lector said.
"Ah. She grew up so fast" the herald said in an older brother voice while wiping a fake tear.
I'm going to kill the person who spread the news!
Skirk heard them too and was trying not to laugh.
I want to bury myself in a hole TwT
