I was doing some work when a portal opened near me.
"Hmm? Asmoday? You need some something" I asked.
He didn't say anything, and just hugged me.
"Hey. Everything alright?" I asked as I turned towards him.
He didn't say anything, but I felt something wet falling on me.
He was crying.
"Asmoday!? What happened?" I asked as I got up.
"Why?" he said.
"Why what?" I asked.
"Why always them? Why is it that those who help me are the ones who have to die?" he asked while crying.
I hugged him back, and he told me about what happened to Makoto.
"Shh. Makoto was already dead Asmoday. There's nothing you could've done about it" I said as I tried to calm him down.
"And it's not life you can bring back de-" I said before I quickly stopped myself.
Asmoday had a glow in eye as he grinned like a madman.
"Asmoday please don't do that" I said.
"Thank you Lumi" he said as he opened a portal.
"Asmoday don't!" I shouted, but he'd already left.

"AETHER! HELP ME!" I shouted as I ran inside another portal.

Aether POV -
It had been almost two weeks since Asmoday disappeared.
After Lumine randomly teleported next to me and told me what had happened, all of us had been looking for him, but there was no trace.
Ever since he disappeared, things had been going... wrong.
Ley-line openings would randomly open all over Teyvat.
Helios had been removed form Enkanomiya.
Creatures that feed on elements had been running away from Dragonspine and the Chasm.
Even the abyss was suffering for a sudden collapse of their portal network.
"Still no trace?" Zhongli asked.
I shook my head.
"I... may have a clue" he said.
"What is it!?" Lumine said as she teleported near me.
"The Zapolyarny Palace was attacked my an unknown individual. Thousands of Delusions were stolen, and a massive supply of archon residue is missing and the gnosis were almost stolen" he said.
"The winds have something interesting too" Venti said.
"What now?" I asked.
"The Seelie. All of them are gathering near Celestia. Whatever Asmoday is planning, is going to be catastrophic for Teyvat" he said.
Lumine teleported away with a worried look when a massive beam launched at the sky from Dragonspine.
I was about to teleport, when Zhongli stopped me.
