Daichi is a very intelligent and energetic young man who, combined with his extraordinary physique, does not go unnoticed. Very friendly and curious, he doesn't hesitate to help his friends without them even asking him and likes to help others with their homework even though he can seem very stubborn when he has an idea in mind.
Daichi is also passionate about history and mythology, but more particularly about Viking mythology, of which he has many collector's items. Despite his great passion for science coming from his parents who are scientists themselves, Daichi is still a big child and loves above all watching cartoons.

Despite his parents' aversion to utilizing his unique quirk, Daichi saw the potential to make a positive impact and fulfill his sense of duty through a career as a professional hero. With this motivation, he embarked on the rigorous training required to join the ranks of U.A. High School, determined to make his parents proud and make a meaningful difference in the world.

Description: It gave him though fangs and claws, wings, and a tail made of black scales which are also present on his shoulders going up to his neck. Thus, Daichi can fly a short distance, fighting with his tail and protecting himself from attacks with his scales.
Drawbacks: Because of the size of its wings and tail, it is difficult for him to operate in enclosed or restricted spaces. He also cannot fly for very long, as his wings are not yet muscular enough to support his weight over long distances.

[S1 Ep8] The Flight of Despair (ザー・フライト・オブ・デスペア): Daichi uses all the strength of his wings to exceed his physical limits and fly higher and longer with a high load.
[S2 Ep5] Draconian Air Whip (ドラコーニアン・エア・ウィップ): Daichi flies into a forward spin, violently whipping the enemy with his scaly tail.
