Hitoyoshi is a lively, cheerful, playful, and sociable boy, making him very popular among his class. In spite of his impatient temperament, his traveling, and athletic side, he is still a very intelligent person even if he can't stand orders and homework and prefers to go out.
Hitoyoshi doesn't like routine and staying in place, so he often goes hiking, swimming in the wilderness, or skateboarding in the city when his friends aren't available. Otherwise, they love to go out with them and throw big parties.

Hitoyoshi, the offspring of a chief mechanic and an assistant nurse, was raised in a household where his parents were separated since he could recall. Despite this, he was not greatly impacted by the divorce and maintained a close relationship with both of his parents. Living primarily with his mother, who he considered a close confidant, Hitoyoshi also enjoyed spending time with his father and stepbrother, bonding over shared interests such as riding motorcycles. With a deep admiration for professional heroes and their impact on society, Hitoyoshi made the decision to follow in their footsteps and pursue a career as a pro hero to put a smile on everyone's face. Through his dedication, hard work, and a little bit of luck, he successfully passed the entrance exams to join the prestigious U.A. School for Heroes.
