Akihito is an elderly man who may appear cold and haughty as a butler, but he is a profoundly loving and caring person to U.A.'s young people. A loyal protector and caretaker, he heals both wounds and hearts with his attentive ear and his sarcastic and piquant humor, which he uses skillfully to draw small smiles even from his most suffering patients.
Because of his past as a butler, Akihito is a very clean man, considering dirt and disorder as his sworn enemies. He is also a talented comedian and an outstanding cook who has a holy hatred of junk food. As a good school nurse, he hates feeling useless and always suffers when he sees young U.A. students presenting him with their injuries.

Akihito's early life was characterized by rebellion and opposition with his father, a butler, as his mother had passed away during childbirth. In an effort to rein him in, Akihito's father sent him to a military boarding school, which surprisingly pleased Akihito, who joined the army as a field doctor at age 18, following in his mother's footsteps. However, after more than 15 years of service, Akihito's experiences on the battlefield took a heavy toll on him, leading him to retire and pursue a completely opposite career in theater as a stage actor. Despite falling deeply in love with a young actress he had seen perform, Akihito gave up his career to take over his father's job as a butler for an English family in Tokyo after his father was killed protecting the family's son from a villain. It was during his tenure as a butler that Akihito formed a positive relationship with Anko Tsunoba and her son, who is now the director of U.A. After the family he worked for returned to London, Akihito sought a new purpose in life, leading him to turn to Masuo Tsunoba and accept a job as a school nurse at U.A.

Drawbacks: The larger the injury, the more pennies it will consume. Now, since these pennies come from Healing Butler's cells, the more pennies he creates the more he suffers and is weakened, especially since he is over 50 years old.
