Alina's eyes began to flutter open when the sound of an alarm began to go off. Her eyelids feel heavy and she pries them open until she can see the rays of sunlight shining through the curtains, a cool breeze blows into the room from the open window causing a line of goosebumps up Alina's spine. Unexpectedly, an arm grips Alina's waist and pulls her closer to a hard chest, a light groan coming from the owner of the chest.

Alina's eyes widen at the fact she was in bed with someone- someone that was definitely not her teddy bear, Leonardo.

Alina looks around the room to realize that it was a familiar room that she feels like she has been in before and when she glanced up at the face of the person she was sleeping next to, sure enough it was Liam Dunbar. That's when she noticed that the room was familiar from the time she had come to his house for him to help her study with math.

"Liam?!" A female's voice calls from the outside of his bedroom door. "Liam?! Wake up!" The voice begins to knock on the door loudly.

"Liam?!" A second voice starts calling, this voice she knew belonged to Mr. Geyer. "Hey, bud! Wake up! Time to get ready for school!"

Liam groans from beside her, he begins to move around, his arms still wrapped around her waist.

"Liam," she hisses, smacking the boy on the forehead. His eyes fly open from the harsh smack and a tint of red spreads across his face when he realized his arms wrapped around Alina.

"Liam?!" Mr. Geyer calls again. This startles Liam into pushing Alina away causing her to fall of the bed.

"OW!" Alina hisses.

"Sorry!" Liam whisper-shouts to Alina who now lays on the floor.

"Are you okay?!" The female voice calls, worry laced through her words.

Liam jumps out of bed and turns off his alarm, "Yeah, one second!" He yells to his parents. He rushes to Alina and helps her up, "you need to go, right now. My parents can't know you stayed the night. They will ground me if they find out," he ushers the girl to the window.

"Okay, okay, I'm going." She starts to climb out the window and steps onto the branch, a little wobbly from just waking up.

"Oh, and Alina?" She looks back over her shoulder to see Liam with his head poked out of the window. "I think it's best if we try to stay away from Scott and Stiles today at school."

"Yeah, obviously. I'm not dumb," Alina rolls her eyes before she climbs across the rest of the branch and into her bedroom. She looks back to Liam to see him go to open his door to reveal Mr. Geyer and a lady that Alina assumes to be his mother.

"What took you so long? Your alarm has been going off for the past five minutes," Liam's mom spoke with a strict tone.

"Sorry, I-I was sleeping, didn't even hear the alarm."

"That's okay," the lady sighs, "just get ready for school. I don't want you to be late."

"Yes, mom," Liam nods with a smile.

Alina hasn't had that good of a sleep since... her whole life. And, she didn't know why that was.

Alina had gotten a drive to school from David this morning since she was running a little late more than usual. She texted Liam to offer him a drive, but he had said he had already left.

Once Alina had arrived at school, she began to head towards her lockers, however she stopped abruptly in her tracks when she was about to turn the corner as she saw Stiles and Scott had Liam cornered. She didn't know what to do, she wanted to help him.
