Alina laid on the hood of the blue jeep, staring up at the stars that shimmered brightly in the sky above. Beside her laid Scott McCall, he as well was staring up at the shining stars, and beside him sat her brother, Milo. Stiles was standing at the side of Milo, talking aimlessly to the other two boys. Alina was not entirely focused on their conversation and her eyes felt droopy as she fell in and out of sleep for the last half an hour.
"Alina," a voice whisper-shouted from behind her. Her were-coyote hearing picked up on the voice continuing to whisper her name. She could sense that he was frustrated with her not answering him, but she did not care. For the last two and a half months, he had ignored her entire existence, so she will do the exact same. "I know you can hear me," Liam Dunbar whispered again. "Come on," he huffed.
She felt slightly bad in complete honesty, even though she has no reason to. It was just that Alina had been involved with the supernatural for less time than he was, yet she was not the one tied up to a tree with chains.
Alina decided to listen to the boy's conversation and pitch in, so it will not seem like she is completely ignoring the Dunbar boy, but rather that she is too busy.
"All right, so I found some cool two bedrooms in Mission District, but they're pretty expensive," Stiles told Scott, referring to apartments they would share for when they attend college next year. "A couple in Haight and Ashbury. Also expensive."
"What about Berkley? Don't a lot of students live around there?" Scott offered the idea.
"Yeah, yeah, we could try Nobb Hill."
"The Jeep wouldn't last in those hills," Alina added her commentary, her gaze still set on the stars. Milo lets out a snicker, earning a glare from Stiles.
Stiles scoffed before letting out a small defeated sigh. "Yeah, the Jeep would probably burn through a lot of clutches."
"You're bringing the Jeep?" Scott questions.
"You know the plan, okay? No one gets left behind. That's the plan," Stiles stated. "Lydia's not gonna have a problem getting into Stanford. Kira's thinking USF. Malia's- uh, gonna, you know, she'll figure something out, okay? The plan's perfect."
"Or we could also wait until we actually get into college and then figure out where to live," Scott shrugged.
"I have a vision, dude, okay? And, it is a beautiful vision. Don't ruin the vision." Stiles continues to ramble on about different places where he and Scott could possibly live. Alina slightly zones out, thinking about the upcoming school year.
"Alina?" Scott's voice breaks her out of her trance. "Are you all right? You're starting to feel it?" His last question refers to the full moon that shines down on them.
"No," she shakes her head. "Just thinking."
"About what?" Stiles asks.
"Well, Milo is going into grade seven. And, you guys are going into senior year. Then you'll graduate and move off to Nobb hill or Oakland or wherever. And, I'm going into my sophomore year," she rambles.
"Which is quite surprising, especially with your math grades," Milo chuckles to himself.
"Shut up," Alina rolls her eyes at the younger boy.
After her and Liam's "break up", she had no help with math. Her grade went down drastically. During class, she was stuck sitting beside Liam which led to her being unable to focus during the whole period. Shay even tried to help tutor Alina, however, Shay was not as patient as Liam was. Mason tried to help tutor Alina as well, however, Mason's methods were not as easy to understand as Liam's. Stiles and Lydia even tried to help, however, she could never pay attention. Her mind was always consumed with thoughts of Liam and the memories of spending hours at his house joking around when they were supposed to be studying and doing math homework.
