The sirens blare in the distance to signal another vehicle coming down the street, a red light flashes over the crowd, people in uniforms running back and forth in a frenzy, and neighbours coming out of their homes to stand on the opposite side of the yellow tape after haven been woken up from the commotion, all of whom question what is happening. Not because of concern, but rather because of their need for gossip.
Alina is sitting in the back of an ambulance. A paramedic has just finished a check-up to ensure she has no other injuries and is feeling well. He wrapped a bandage around her throat where contusions from David's attempt in strangling her were. Little does the paramedic know, that those bruises will be completely gone without a trace in mere minutes. Half an hour at most. Nonetheless, he wraps the bandage around the skin of her throat and instructs her not to talk along with cleaning up a dribble of blood on the side of her face and placing a bandaid where a small cut is. The cut had been much larger when David had first used his blade in a threatening manner, however, it has begun the short and quick journey of healing.
Alina glanced around to see Milo sitting with Deputy Parrish on a curb in front of a neighbour's house. Most likely trying to get Milo to talk to and to get information about tonight's events. Though Milo has yet to have said a word. Still shaking from fear and confusion. Parrish wrapped his deputy jacket around the boy, hoping that the warmth would comfort him. Milo had a couple of abrasions on both wrists from the rope to which another deputy had taken photos of for evidence. That same deputy who had taken photos of Milo's abrasions had taken photos of the handprints that wrapped around Alina's throat before moving onto Liam to take photos of his bruises and cuts too.
Liam was also sitting in the back of an ambulance while a paramedic cleaned the blood off of his face and put a bandaid on his chest and stomach where the dagger had come in contact. His mom and stepdad had come outside, after being woken up by loud shouting and screaming, leading to them making a call to 911. Once they heard the sirens they headed outside to find their son sitting in the back of an ambulance, now they sit with him. Worried more than ever. His mom had her arm wrapped around him, rubbing his shoulder soothingly as a deputy asked questions. Liam explained everything- well, everything that he knew and could tell. He was laying in bed when he heard shouting, and looked out of his window to see his neighbour attacking Alina, he climbed across the tree that connects the two bedroom windows and tried to stop David from strangling Alina which made David attack him instead.
All while Liam spoke, he never took his eyes off of Alina, ensuring she was safe and okay. Even when the deputies asked questions, his eyes were set firmly on Alina. Even when, his mom and stepdad talked to him, his eyes were set firmly on Alina. The only time that he did take his eyes off of the blonde girl was when he heard a familiar voice.
"Dad! Dad!" Liam looked over to see a tall and scrawny boy on the other side of the yellow tape that blocks off pedestrians and neighbours. His arms frantically flail in the air, trying to grab his father's attention. Several figures stand behind him, all familiar and all reeking of nerves, concern, and worry. "Dad!" Stiles called again.
"Let him through," Sheriff Stilinski called to the deputy that tried to stop Stiles from going under the yellow tape. Stiles successfully stumbled over to his father, with Scott, Shay, Malia, Kira, Lydia, and Derek in tow. Liam began to listen intently to their conversation.
"How'd you know I was here?" Sheriff questioned his son, a stern look set on his face.
"That's not the important question," Stiles waved off his father. "The important question is what's happening?"
"Did you listen in to my phone calls again? Stiles for the millionth time-" Sheriff is cut off.
"No, Dad. No, I wasn't listening into your phone calls." It was obvious that Stiles lied. Anyone could tell that. "Like I said, that is not the important question here."
