The deployment day has come. You smooth down your long dress that the head seamstress has made you as a screaming announcement that you are the education head of the kingdom. Gold represents the education department that you govern as per the king's choice. You gladly accept his choice since it's not something to be so picky about.

All of the other teachers you have trained were wearing something that resembles your dress. Light brown with a touch of gold. Everyone wears a badge that the smiths has designed and approved by you. Beside you was your new assistant Jake whom have only arrived this morning. He has a very distinct accent that you only heard a few times. You knew he'd be a great help since he is a scholar at a very young age who have been studying overseas with some of the royals of the different kingdoms who are his age.

"Are you ready lady y/n?" Jake asks you.

You look his direction and nod.

"I am," you curtly answer him.

Your eyes catches someone.

Jungkook

He's walking behind the king. His eyes fixated on the crowd in the great hall. The king walks to you so you and Jake bows to greet him and Jungkook.

Your eyes lands on Jungkook's boots. Slowly you raise your head and for the first time since he came, your eyes met. You were about to smile but didn't. Jungkook cuts the gaze and looks away. His eyes cold, his posture, formal.

You see Heeseung walking faster to catch up with his brothers when his eyes lands on your new assistant. Jake bows and smiles to him. Heeseung nods subtly and wiggles his brows teasingly.

"You know the young prince?" You ask Jake to distract your aching heart.

"He's a dear friend of mine. I have been spending time with him when we were overseas as an exchange student," he fills you in.
