"Muichiro-san, time to get up. We're heading to the Hidden Leaf Village today," Lady Tsunade called out, standing at the foot of the bed where her sleeping student lay.
It had been two years since Lady Tsunade had found Muichiro, a girl who seemed to have no home or place to go. Out of compassion—and perhaps a sense of duty—Tsunade took her in.
In truth, Lady Tsunade had been a close friend of Muichiro's mother, and though the years had passed, she still grieved the loss of her dear friend. Taking care of Muichiro helped ease some of that sorrow.
Remarkably, in just two months, Muichiro had mastered Lady Tsunade's secret Chōdai Regeneration: The 100 Healing Jutsu. Her natural talent was undeniable, a prodigy from the start.
Now seven years old, it was time for Muichiro to begin formal studies at the Hidden Leaf Village Academy.
Muichiro slowly sat up, rubbing her eyes, and gazed at Lady Tsunade, her expression still sleepy.
"Did you pack your things?" Tsunade asked. Muichiro glanced to the side of the room, then nodded silently.
"Good," Tsunade said with a small smile. "I already packed that noisy bird's stuff too. It'll be nice to have some peace around here." She crossed her arms. "Now, hurry up and get dressed. Once you're ready, come downstairs with your things. You'll eat, and then Shizune will take you to the Hidden Leaf."
Muichiro nodded once more, her calm demeanor unwavering as she began to prepare for the journey ahead.
